I think you have to do a research about the robberies done by UNP and capacity of PM.

If you know the history , power and links you will never ask current PM to take action against this family. Ask your elders about the family affairs during Premadasa and JR times.

Arjun Mahendran was PM appointee to the CB. Even i don't feel PM is responsible to this crime but he shouldn't have given Arjun mahendran another big post in his ministry until this investigation was done.

@stockback why isn't Ravi Karunayake responsible for this. It was clearly stated in the earlier COPE report he has intervened in the lending protocol of BOC when lending to perpetual. Which enable them to raise large funds in a hurry to invest in the Bond auction.

@stockback there wont be any action taken by this regime towards these culprits. PM was the person who appointed three lawyers to this initial inquiry who didn't have any knowledge about the complex money market situation.

It was the case with previous regime. crooks are living freely without any remorse. People who think that these people(Previous regime n current Regime) will get prosecuted are living in a dreamworld.

Namal n yoshitha has accusation about and cases filed but not the extent current regime said they stole. Namal cases are like 50-80Mn case. Current regime said he stole billions.
If he's proven at least stealing 1 buck he should prosecuted and dealt with.

Wimal weerawansa and basil was the biggest hora according to current govt but look at what sort of cases have being filed against them.
