None of the companies like John Keells, Aitken Spence, Hayleys, Access etc are the wealthiest in Sri Lanka, said Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Adding further, the Prime Minister said that the wealthiest commercial organization is the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
He said that if needed, this organization has the capability of buying over all these companies.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe further pointed out that funds like the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF), National Savings Bank, the Sanasa organization etc had been created through the money provided to the peoples’ hands under the open economy system introduced by the United National Party (UNP).

Eureka! for PM's biggest discovery of the decade. But will they invest in the CSE to lead the way for institutional investments?

PM has forget the fact that EPF are funded by these companies and without these companies EPF is only three letters.
