Guys this thread is open for everyone to discuss about Namunukula Plantations

My personal opinion is with their strong results backed by Palm oil sector will benefit this company much better in the long run, Also expects the company to pay a decent dividend this time

NAMU, ELPL & WATA and other plantation companies made big losses from Tea & Rubber segment last year. Most of Plantation Companies even had gross loss.

But with COVID,

- Interest rate came down
- debt relief came
- India Tea Industry disrupted
- Exchange rate favoured for export

Tea segment of the companies become profitable or break even after COVID lock Down. With that Palm Oil profitability which always been profitable, start appearing as Net profit without setting off Tea / Rubber loss.

This year will be a good year for Plantation. However beyond that is uncertain since underlying problem of plantation industry remain unchanged such as,

- No value addition to Tea
- Labour Pay hike related issue,
- High Leverage
- Palm Oil industry uncertainty
- Glyphosate matter
- Dependency of Russia (What happened when we blacklist Russian Universities and Asbestos)

So my opinion is current positive environment will be prevail for another 6 to 9 Months but beyond that is a question.
