Any news on the recent decline on AEL?
It was at around Rs.24.00 a few months back. Now it has dropped to Rs.20.90. I did some research but couldn't find a plausible cause for this sudden decline.

Better to stay away I guess until we get a clear picture on future profitability

Yes for me it's about future profits. Its A decision between fundamental and technical analysis

I read on a recent article that the Prime Minister plans to build 4000 bridges across the island. AEL would certainly benefit from this venture.

Despite financials I think 19/- would be a good entry point for a reasonable trade towards 21-22.

AEL is a very healthy engineering institution Won't go more down .This a temporary drop because of dividend announcement.It's the best time if some one want collect more from bottom with in month or just little more than that AEL will reach 26

Hehe i dont think so AEL not a low liquid share. If mr perera wants it to go that is another story, but i think this is not the time.

Good break even level to buy at current price
Based on my experience, this company has strong capabilities to come up. Due to current political situation created this price. But it will go up soon
I think it is better to add stock stock at each price level

You are right about the current situation.it's really hard and hazy period for any stock exchange when it's become a matter of political stability .AEL worth buying for long time investment will be best for holding 5 years with grow .
