This will teach everybody NOT to believe :
"You have my word. It will reach to X & Y"
" my system tells it will double withing weeks"
" our jala huta internal computer program is so far 85% correct in predictions"
.. and songs , lyrics tooමධුර වසන්තේ මල් ලියකම් බබලා
මධුර වසන්තේ මල් ලියකම් පිපෙනා
සතර දිගන්තේ ඔබෙ පිළිරූ පිපිලා
රටම මුලාකර සල්ලි වලට කෙලියා
By the way, As I said earlier,
ACAP is building an asset base again.

This was to be an Asian giant , as they claimed in full page newspaper ads those days. Actually it had some value and potential at initial stages. But bad or short sighted management , financial and other crisis dragged them continuously to very difficult levels.
Now I think they have dropped many loss making assets and building hotel chains.
We cannot expect profits at this stage on what they do. It will take many more years it to reap real and steady benefits from current investments.
Hence , if prices drop and if you are willing to stay long term then buy it .
I bought it 7.50 -8 2-3 months ago and sold as I disclosed earlier.
People always (naturally) overact and extrapolate.
Apart from ACAP, AEL , ALUMex like shares can generate real value if boasted mega development actually achieved in coming years. Before that many up down cycles may come . You have to think about opportunity costs also.
I sold AEL too at around 20 % 2 months profit. If it reach 27 or even 30 in short term no problem for me because my buyer also can be happy. I am already happy. This is how share market should grow. If I get all the profits and others make losses no one will have money to by my shares.
