CTHR makes nice capital gain on sale

CERA was in its books at Rs 87 per share at end 2012 - may have risen to around Rs 90 per share by end April 2013

Sold for Rs 120 per share (less brokerage cost), so profit of c. Rs 30 per share on 24 million shares gives total profit of around Rs 700 million on cash realised of Rs 2.9 billion

CERA reported profit of Rs 523 million last year, and CTHR would have got 80% of that - will not be getting contribution from CERA in future

What will CTHR do with the money ? Pay off debt ? Invest in new bank ? Invest in beer or dairy or supermarkets ?

This man never runs out of cash. Even Ballys has one of the highest winning percentages in the world.

Would have been better if he used Hayleys cash reserves

OMG… Can Helyies run without DIPD?, They can sell any but not DIPD and HAYC. Some of largest customers of entire HAYL group are handled by DIPD.

Yep Dammika is the only person to pay this much premium to a company which holds couple of dying companies.

Other players cant run a Tile company against the strong Royal Ceramic.

In near future DP will be the only party to buy out a company by paying premiums to compensate the synergy.

RCL is opening attractive branches in every where with good innovations. you see the advertisement campaign RCL has.

RCL investments in lot of new machinates and systems. If you read the Chairmen s review you can understand how pro active they are.

That is why i used the word Dying. Am i wrong ?As a customer or a potential customer i will never go to this Wall tile show rooms.

VONE will be the future of every wise investors. if u anybody wants to cover up past losses the best option is to invest in VONE and forget it for the next 5 years. U will see the wonders at that time. This has happend to share holders of LFIN, CONN,HAYL, VFIN,VPEL etc....etc... Capital gains plus hefty dividends. Good investment for your kids, family future 5 years, 10 years ..............

It's not a premium price for CERA. It's a group of company. Actual asset value is more than 120/-. For RCL it's a good synergy, as now they have the control of the entire tile market. No price wars in the future.
