It will be good if everyone posting their choices to include why those shares are selected. At least briefly whether it’s fundamentally good or technically indicating a buy. Else we might end up with shares each one have in their portfolios and wants to promote.

Most would have shares they regret buying especially when someone buys at the wrong time at a higher level. They would want to promote those shares so that people will get enticed to buy and drive the price up so that those stuck in the share can sell.

Im stuck on ASIY. I never promote that here bcz I know it will take a long time for it to have a run.

Generally I see good shares mentioned here apart from a few. It’s always good to know why someone is suggesting a share to help buyers.

Here is my reasons for selected shares

HAYC - Demand for activated carbon is increases exponentially, HAYC can deliver EPS over 110 for 2020/21

DIPD- Due to high demand in medical and industrial gloves

HAYL- hugely benefit from DIPD & HAYC profit, last quarter EPS over Rs 22 and this quarter even more profit as huge dividend income received, vaccine distribution too can benefit HAYL

TKYO- No 1 cement producer and more construction project in the pipeline

ELPL- due to increased tea, rubber, palm oil prices

RICH- benefit from NAMU, MASK, TYRE and Arpico

GLAS

Reasons

1. new ownership changes

Blackstone is ultimate parent company. growing demand for glas products due to market developments in USA. able to come new investment and new technology. expand production capacity level fulfill market higher demand.

2. Market development

piramal glas continuously developing their market and try to maximize their market share. New Product Development and inroads into new markets such as Mexico, Angola and Indonesia, UK, Colombia, Netherlands etc. main export destination countries like Newzeland, Australia, Mexico, Angola, Indonesia, Colombia, Netherland, USA, East Africa, Kenya, UAE, Philippines, Maldives, UK, Mauritius worldwide.

3. Super growing glas industry

covid19 pandemic spreading. present market situation really support growth for glas products. researcher identified that, potential super growth in glas industry.

4. global Eco-friendly product

presently, most of countries ban single use plastic bags. Sri Lanka also ban plastic with effect from 01.01.2021. they change substitute product instead of plastic.

5. higher acquisition price

acquisition price is higher than market price. it provide guaranteed for prevalling market price. May be they will give mandatory offer or buy back shares increasing holding % rather than 56%. Everything going on beyond acquisition prices.

6. Market monopoly

Benefits from govt. policy on banning glass imports and encouraging domestic industries with assistance. Piramal glas is sole monopoly glas maker locally. No competitor. Still survival with super profits.

7. Utilization of local natural resources

Most of raw material scrutinize from Sri Lanka. GLAS mainly uses resources dolomite and silica which is being obtained locally (Naththandiya). govt. told that govt. will give benefit and incentive packages for local resources used by manufacturing companies.

8. Incentives for export orientate product

Govt. give incentives for export oriented business. Govt. budget were shoed so many proposal motivate this kind of business.

GLAS will perform well with superlative performance. potentially most valued share. it will trade beyond acquisition price level as soon. be hope higher dividend payout.

UML -  Good opportunities for vehicle assembling business due to import restriction of vehicles.
High demand for assembled vehicles. other used vehicles in the market are high priced.
Government decisions to develop and support the vehicle assembling business.
Can expect Rs. 10 + EPS for 20/21

RIL -   Holds 51% of UML.  RIL earnings  depend on UML performance. UML is now back to track.
Can expect Rs. 2 + EPS for 20/21

ELPL -  One of best plantation shares. Increased world palm oil prices. Government import                              restrictions.  Current price is attractive with the earnings.
Can expect 10+ EPS for 20/21

Some plantation shares and brokering companies are also good to buy due to high prices of the Tea auction. Once the volume up , very good future for all.

RIL : within 1 week  director sold out RIL shares (appx. 4Mn shares). how can imagination RIL going up further. because, director knows turning point than us. I never believe RIL price appreciation. can hope selling pressure. director sold RS.9.50 and Rs. 9.00 each price level. last time, I saw few shares after director sold out , going down prices.

Wait and see what happens.. They are the owners. Thats a small quantity compared to amount they hold.. Check the top 20 list. Look the UML earnings last quarter.. This quarter is better than that.. Just search the demand of assembled vehicles.. Next year demand is so high.. UML importing bodies and other parts heavily these days in order to assemble.. Government dont relax import restriction on vehicles  and UML has a great future.. So that benefit directly come to RIL too.. other than that UML construction machinery segment also have the great future with construction boom..  let the time and see what happens..
