While the Initial Public Offering (IPO) by Lucky Lanka Milk Processing Lanka Limited which began yesterday (07 July) is still open for investors, among the ordinary voting shares worth Rs. 228 million on public offer, shares worth Rs. 62.4 million had been applied for by 4.30 pm yesterday.
Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka which is the managers and registrars to the issue informed the Colombo Stock Exchange regarding this.
While Lucky Lanka Milk Processing Lanka Limited offered ordinary non-voting shares to the value of Rs. 72 million, its high demand has attracted applications worth Rs. 103.3 million.
Lucky Lanka Milk Processing Lanka Limited has made an IPO of 38 million ordinary voting shares at Rs. 06 each and 24 million ordinary non-voting shares at Rs. 03 each.
