I took 10% loss and sold 90% of my portfolio. What to do. this is not stoping, valuable shares are going down. People who sell now are the real winners we can buy below

I check with the broker and if ASI goes 5% down. stop trading for 30 minute

Sri Lanka government is in the crisis. Corona is a part of the reason. There is a huge risk , sudden rupee collapse. When tax cut starts ,they simply loss 30% of government revenue . Now this is difficult to control. Country has a huge debt and no one can support to restructure it due to world situation.

Spot On. All these reasons have been used by errant Traders/Brokers to manipulate stock market?

Stock trading wants experience . Remember several times i told 90% companies are over value also i sold 70% of my shares on tax revises. I know these people have no brain to control . Thats the reason i exit most of the shares and i hold few with dividend pays.

Now no way. Holding is the best strategy. The main issue, most of the retailers are in credit. This may be due to force selling. In Simply Sri lankan economy has been killed by politicians not CORONA.

profit I made by selling after the election wiped out due to this. now in a break-even position. I entered to the market below 5500, brought only valuable shares, fortunately, I only invested 50% of my money.

Guys think , again and again think. These guys doesnt have a capacity , they are not economic advisers. This is the reason sri lanka faced such a crisis. Their aim only to win elections rather than nothing.
