@eranga , its true. Our government did wrong decision.

SEOUL, March 16 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will not use Japan's anti-influenza medication, called Avigan, for the treatment of the novel coronavirus due to doubts over its efficacy and potential side effects, health authorities said Monday.

The anti-viral drug developed by the Fujifilm Holdings Corp. has emerged as one of the potential drugs in the race to find an effective treatment for COVID-19 as there is currently no specific treatment.

Me :- Hey bloody.

Virus :- Hello human.

Me :- When will you stop killing innocent people?

Virus :- Humans? innocent? humans are the worst living being i've ever seen. And i'm just doing my job. That's all. Nothing personal.

Me :- What job? Killing mankind?

Virus :- Yeah. Not at all, just protecting the balance of the nature.Observe below chart. You will understand.

Virus :- As you see above, growth of human population was increased af in 20th and 21st centuries. Do you have any idea about how it will end like if it won't get controlled naturally?

Me :- Yes i agree human population is increasing day by day. But what's with it and your job?

Virus :- Kid, population is increasing but understand that land isn't getting larger similarly. With the increasing of  human population, they will need more land to build houses. There are no much forests left. 1000's Trees are being killed in every hour. Humans forgot the basic facts. By the time humans will be swiped out from    this planet. I'm sad this most powerful creature (that's how you people describe yourselves) couldn't rule the earth at least a half of the dinosaur ages.

Virus :- Currently we viruses are working for the orders of the mother nature. Also every natural disaster is happening with a reason. Don't ignore them. We are the nature. No one can exceed the limits. But humans already crossed their lines. So we are controlling the world population. There are much to be dead.

Me :- Ffs omg you must be kidding 😶

Virus :- Watch kid, This is just a beginning. Also you will thank me one day, But only if you survive this time.

Me :- 😰 (I had nothing to say. I was freaking confused, and he left)

It was a very good decision by the govt to cremate bodies of corona victims in the best interest of the general public.

The government on Sunday declared a work from home period from April 6 to 10 for the private and public sectors.

The President’s Office in a statement said the curfew in 19 districts will be lifted at 6 am tomorrow (April 6) and will be re-imposed at 2 pm on the same day.

However, the curfew in the Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Puttalam, Kandy and Jaffna districts will be in effect until further notice.

Meanwhile, entering or leaving certain areas which have been isolated in the Colombo, Kalutara and Kandy districts will be prohibited until further notice.

Traveling between districts too is strictly prohibited except for essential services, the statement issued by the President’s Office noted.

On the same lines, the statement warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who misuse the permission granted to travel for essential services.

The government said farming activities and those involved in the production of export crops such as tea will be permitted to continue operations while the curfew is in effect.

The public has been requested to abide by these regulations as they have been enforced to curb the spread of COVID-19 which has claimed five lives in the country.

We must appreciate that the Govt took necessary steps to contain the spread of CV in comparison to US which is suffering due to Trump who acted as a Mudalali wanting to open shop for business as usual and not taking the threat seriously till matters got out of hand.

US elected Dumbest president ever no argument about and they are paying the price for the mistake. But when we closely look into Trump and his policies they are very close to MR and the clans, That is why Putin is very interested in Trump. Few Examples fack nationalization, Tax cut for corporate. racism, Discrimination people, cease all participation in the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change, Promoting dictator (kim jong un), Most of all lying to the nation.

Fortunately irrespective of the numbers infected and going to be infected, the positive side in Sri Lanka is that our death toll remains at 7  and most of them had other health complications. May be the virus is not heat resistant and also it could belong to a lower grade strain. Hence, the govt should treat this as just another disease (similar to seasonal flu) and we have to learn to live with it, having mandatory restrictions such as social distancing and wearing of face masks be made compulsory for the time being until the pandemic subsides or a suitable treatment is found.
In my opinion there is no way the numbers infected are going to be brought under control, as their will be carriers without any symptoms. Under these circumstances, so long as the recovery records are encouraging we should consider ourselves lucky and look forward to opportunities in the current scenario and build the economy.
The measures taken up to now is praiseworthy as we did not know where we stood. But to continue with the overwhelming fear phobia could only spell disaster. So, hope we get back to business and count on our blessings.
