YOU THINK USA AND INDIA ARE STUPIDS TO KEEP OPEN THE MARKET AFTER ALL THEY HAVE EFFECTED MORE THAN US. THINK POSITIVE THEN EVERY THING WILL BE OK. THE QUANTITY OF HAPPINESS DEPENDS ON THE QUALITY OF THINKING. GLQuibit wrote:CSE is not an essential service. Opening CSE will only create panic and pandemonium. What is the criteria for determining the beginning or end of this crisis? People should be free to buy and sell shares. Demand and supply determine the price of a share. The closure of the market and the manipulation of prices is a destructive of this process. I have never heard of a market closure in demand supply theory.
So why are other countries keeping the market open? Is it because economists in those countries have little knowledge?
Please explain for our knowledge....Tnx.

No doubt GR has indeed done an amazing job in countering the covid spread. As it is uncertainty prevails world over as the pandemic is not confined to certain regions or parts, impacting negatively on the global economy. In my view the countries which are able to control the spread of covid successfully until a vaccine is found will be at an advantage for early resilience. Furthermore, Japanese govt sponsored relocation of their business interests from China are underway. I see Sri Lanka as a lifeboat in close proximity to the titanic that's heading towards the iceberg.Kipling wrote:Hi Samaritan
Great to see you return at this crucial moment & as always with the customary wisdom.
I heard that First Capital (Dimantha Matthew) had painted a vision of a bloodbath with a target of 3500. Foreign funds are to flee completely. Have zero respect for that outfit for good reason. Please give me your take. I think GR has done an amazing C19 control effort in line with other Asian nations. If not for the Navy cases we would have had a better record than even Taiwan.
