Cabraal assures ‘V-shaped’ recovery for Sri Lanka's Economy!
Ajith Nivard told parliament that a 'V - Shaped' economic recovery in SL is becoming a reality and that forecasts of doom hold no water.

I don't think the CSE engine is dead, b'cos in spite of adversities like the economic downturn & covid the market made a dramatic recovery. But of course could not witness a bull run mainly due to foreigners selling pressure.

Unlike the previous regime this govt is concerned about the performance of CSE as a marker of economic growth and assigned a Minister for capital markets for the first time in history.

The new cabinet took over office only recently. So, in fairness its reasonable for them to take few months to put things in order. All what i know is they are positive and confident in rebuilding the economy and the people appointed to positions of responsibility are those who can deliver. Be Positive!

The economies of developed nations suffered major setbacks and are still struggling with covid. Sri lanka could host an international level conference on 'how to achieve sustainable control over covid19'.
