Market over bought. Foreign buying will not come due to moody effect. So no traders confident

I don't think so.
Still the sales are absorbing by local investors.
Even Guardian investment also bought by foreign party.
Lot of local money are invested in local market due to very low interest rates on fixed deposits.

Unlikely, probably for only certain shares that are overvalued.
Changes could probably be seen after Q3 results

Hi VikiPerera,

The outcome of the Moody's downgrade was felt earlier by CSE in which we observed by continuous foreign sales in stocks, since the post COVID19 opening of CSE.

However, net foreign buying was witnessed in Bonds during last week. The trend may reverse now.

I don't agree with your observation due to following;

The country risk was on the cards mainly stemming from the  COVID19 shocks to most of the frontier markets like Pakistan. But a negative impact for respective stock markets have not recorded after the downgrade.

If the country becomes defaulting as per the downgrade by Moody's Ratings yesterday, I don't think even a Bank or a Finance company would secure any individual's deposits.

Bilateral negotiations will be the only surviving factor and heard that it is already being discussed with China and India. Please refer the following link
http://www.ft.lk/front-page/SL-looking-to-tackle-trade-deficit-with-India-Cabraal/44-706721

These days will be ideal for high level of collection and increase your portfolio. The market could react a bit for the news. However, what I feel is the ASI demand was primarily from Local investors based on the fundamentals and speculative.

Therefore, all the STOCKS which are FUNDAMENTALLY STRONG and HAVING STRONG EARINING POTENTIAL in COMING QUARTERS will absorb the any selling pressure in case of a pull back with incremental buying pressure because of the dividend and capital gain is far better than Bank's interest rate going @ 5% p.a.

However, stocks went on a SPECULATIVE note will be corrected with diminished buying pressure.

Good Luck

Maximum down ASI 5750 level. can expect at least down up to 5850 levels. but, cant expect maximum downward due to local most the retailer absorbs foreign sellings. day to day, new cash flows are coming to the market. can expect minimal corrections for the stability of the market. better to hold and collect this period. again these changes will come @ market index 7000.
the national budget on the way.. they will give encourage the capital market and attract FDI.
HURRY UP THIS IS A TIMES FOR COLLECTIONS.

The market is ready to race towards 7000. There will be foreign selling, downtimes. IT doesn't matter. There will be slow counters. There will be speculations in both up and downwards. It doesn't really matter as long as local investors mentality strong enough to absorb this pressure.

How can that be? Banks and brokers don't give that higher margin after Covid. Most brokers trade on cash
