Consolidation at 5000 and support at 4800

My opinion is we must grab these opportunities as this downfall is just a mentality and sooner it will adjust to its previous levels. Collectors will be happy.

I agree with teller. We are only sharing our views the index will drop to 4800 -4900. 

If you think it isn't - hold your stocks.

If you agree, get ready to collect at market bottom. 

Let's try to agree / disagree with logic rather than speculation & emotions. We could be wrong too and the index could shoot up-to 6000 again but my analysis of situation as of now is that 4800-4900 is wear support will tested given the current wave will be the most complex to curtail and we all know the consequences of curfews on the economy & thereby the capital market.

This is utter bullshit with an hidden agenda in order to create panic once again. Suggest you could buy what you sold at current price levels as the ASI wave is on the rise.

Yeah i agree that we should make our investment decisions on logics rather than emotions. But what is the logic behind this downfall? No logics just stupid panic selling and negative mentality.

I decided to hold and collect more on thinking logically, Not on greedy and selfish emotions like some negative minds here.

I ignore samiratan since he doesn't understand the Dynamics of a market. I've read his comments elsewhere and he speaks rubbish frequently.

1. This wave will be the most wide spread and difficult to control which will result in island wide curfews. You will know the concequences of a curfew on a market. Investors priorities change as they divest from 'Risk Assets'

2. Don't expect further Foreign inflows. SL's Foreign Currency of $7b will exhaust in the next 12 months due to settlements of outstanding capital / Interest. Without refinancing SL is in imminent danger.

I'm a financial analyst and this is what we do for a living. I've been right so far in all my posts (check it up) and it's your call to buy / sell / hold. However I understand, there is a possibility of me being wrong but it's very remote.

Stock markets are futuristic in nature. There are 'n' number of variables that affect a stock market. Unforeseeable events can never be accommodated in any technical or fundamental analysis.

For this stress testing is used, Using historical data , futures possible result according to situation is calculated.

The people are now fed up of this covid-19 fear and they start to live normal. Do this will not go below 5200 as local market is positive as bank interest rates are low and this is a feasible investment

There are some people still dreaming to collect shares at the price which was traded on 12th May. They better realize there is no logic for the current downfall at all, and whoever fools, traders, game players, so call HNWIs trying to collect at bargain prices still no logic to fall market consistently. This artificial downtrend due to artificial selling + panic selling. All the fundamental shares are still at half price. Some have dreamt to collect JKH @ 80's still whining here

IT'S SO SIMPLE.
PEOPLE WHO HAVE MONEY WHICH WERE NOT INVESTED ARE WAITING FOR THE DOWN FALL OF THE 
MARKET.SO WAIT UNTIL 4800 AND START TO INVEST MONEY.

I work based on statistics some times calculus plus mathematics . I believe my self and no one need to follow me . simply Profit or loss bear by you as investors .

If you use statistics, calculus for market analysis probably you are talking about quantitative finance.
it is not that hard to present those derivations to other forum members. but you never expose them.

My major also computer and mathematics. And also study with principals, analyzing supporting levels based on RSI. Plus I do consider investor sentiment and news. since SL market is driven by it rather than technicals.

But surprisingly my readings deviating from yours! Maybe I am not doing this correct or are you a kind of speculator? just curious...

Covid is part and parcel of life. We were blessed not to have social spread for 6 months. Well at some point its going to happen just like in any country. We are mot immune to it. Initial shock of 1,000 is now absorbed by the market. Now we will have smaller numbers popping up and it will go on till we find vaccine (hopefully end of December and by mid 2021 most will get it) and life will go on. SInce this is new to SL we as always react by panicking. India/USA stock markets are rallying since with the highest covid cases and deaths! SO don't panic just use this as opportunity to buy low and hold and things will be back to normal soon. That's the new normal!

I think you got the answer which i would say by @xhunter. 

Maybe you were lucky to liquidate your portfolio on Friday but you weren't lucky enough to grab the chance of the panic selling. Instead of that you tried to spread more negativity and panic innocent people.

Nice try but people aren't that stupid nowadays. We got a bunch of smart boys here.
