Avoid knee-jerk responses that you might regret later.
The stock market's sudden downturn over the last few days has left investors asking a disturbingly familiar question.
Can you still sleep at night after putting your valuable money into the market?
There is absolutely no sympathy in the stock market. If you need sympathy you will have to look elsewhere.
There’s a rule of thumb or two about investing. One of those guidelines says that any money you will need within the next two to five years should not be invested.
Avoid knee-jerk responses that you might regret later.
Panic is not a strategy, you should make sure that you have well-thought-out investment plans based on factors such as age, income level and future financial needs.
Good luck and safe trading

Great piece of advise Sir, As always!!! It's very rare to find people who are investing disposable income in Sri Lanka. Most of them invest their general income and some of them even go to the extent of trading with margins but failing to close their positions at the end of the day. These reasons lead to panic selling and eventually losing money and making the whole market collapse as a result. Great advise again. Smile
