So if you just selling and going out of CSE,its a big lose for now, but if u buy low and sell moderately high its ur gain

with the current conditions lockdown will not happen, but situation getting worse.
I doubt that this is the right time to buy. my suggestion is wait one more day, and re-evaluate the pattern and then decide.
if today turnover hits 4bn, there is a higher probability that market recover tomorrow. but if it less than 3bn, selling is still pending and people will try to sell tomorrow also. keep your eye on individual shares prices, individual turnover and market turnover just before you buy.

to turn it upwards, it is 50:50  (but definitely it will not recover within tomorrow ,recover means come to the point we had today morning).

this is how get a hint by from turnover.
if TO< 2.5bn then it is 20:80 (turn up: further down)
   TO> 4bn            it is 80:20

if turnover around 3bn it is 50:50 , tomorrow their will be new sellers, and last 15 minutes it shows that buyers also agreed to buy just above the current prices.

anyway, IMO investors should not react to this kind of development, but swing traders usually do.
people who try to inject cash to market should closely monitor if they really want to buy at the optimal point.
last time we were too sure that it is just panic selling triggered by an event.
this time it is not, it was developed slowly (that's why last two days turnover was somewhere around 2.5bn  , some solid shares like TYKO,RCL,LMF started to drop).

you might think that i just say these things after this happened , no last two days trading pattern and turnover hints me to react on some counters (I am 20% swing trader, 80% investor).

I agree with it comes to 1 point and any thing could happen tomorrow. Even I sold most of shares except for KVAL and NDB till yesterday. But unlike the last time I see a manipulation this time. Last time every one got scared due to Brandix, But there wasn't any major news except curfew in selected areas. I feel this mainly done by big traders so, they could buy low . Any way I didnt sell any share today and bought later half of the day. Lets see tomorrow

Covid is already there with us from the beginning and it has become part of us. Since the testings are heavy these days, they identified more people. So there is nothing to be panic or get shock. live your life as past 3 months.. but follow the safety precautions to control the spread until vaccine comes.

be wise and trade with confident.

to be honest i'm little surprised to see the market today. I was expecting it will go further down but it's recovering.. (happy news) Specially the shares which has good fundamentals for growth.. this will continue for tomorrow and next week, unless the government impose a curfew during this weekend for Colombo district.. if no curfew no panic sales.. but it's very unlikely to put curfew since AL exams are going on... so i hope this recovery trend will continue until market consolidate... expecting the ASPI to hit 5850 by tomorrow.

my simple thought since you asked.
