At the closing stages of the market today around 150,000 shares was transacted at 6/50. Yesterday it touched a high of 7/10 and a little over half a million shares were transacted.

Any conclusions???

Investors won't buy these kind of crappy shares.but traders will. when trading these kind of junky crappy shares you have to take the risk .you should be careful when buying shares with political influence.

The market is becoming dangerous for investors, people will not have trust and might effect the CSE on the long run and will chase away foreign investors too, if companies (HVA) are taken over like this at a discounted rate.

This offer is not reasonable,  Surprised
George Stuart :face_palm_tone1:‍Does anyone in this forum or anybody who owns HVA have the will to sell HVA at 3.50 rs?? I would be amazed if that happens. Not going to happen. Don't sell your valuable shares at a discount because of a crooked fellow. This is more like the ASPH rights issue and no I don't own any HVAHVA Voluntary Offer Thumbs-up1 HVA Voluntary Offer Thumbs-up1

The party is just getting started... benefitting from everything from quarantine hotels to antigen test kits and offering rs 3.5 for a RS 6.7 share... I cannot understand the political gains/games they play.
unless someone can explain the rationale for this 3.50 offer I will be really frustrated and angry..

foreign holding of this company is 0.71%(472,389).foreign investors with a brain haven't invested in this share.ATM CSE is the best place for investors as well as gamblers. investors will go with banking sector shares which are highly undervalued while gamblers will go with shares like this to earn more within a short period of time.
eg gambling shares:HVA,EMER,IDL,ECL etc.

Things may not be bad as what most expect, it may even turnout to be good. Furthermore, ANC will not permit acts that dampens investor sentiment at this juncture when the market is on the verge of revival.

Just sharing my thoughts only.

If this will happen according to your thoughts that's good for investors. But remember we live in Sri Lanka and never never keep trust on Sri Lankan dirty, corrupted  politicians.   Smile

For a successful market all players should exist, such as day traders/traders/investors short/ long or medium. In this case we as participants will loose trust or faith on CSE. Tomorrow this could happen to any Company, whom we invest/trade!!
There’s something for all of us to think in this move! This is my personal view.

Hi friends,  don’t take this much serious this is just a voluntary offer, who wish to sell @ that price can sell, others can keep their shares as their wish till get a profit, don’t forget the people who behind this drama, once this share reached to unbelievable high more than rs 80 at that moment the NAV was very low but it went like a rocket,

History can be repeated (D.J meeyak kadanne atha lewa kanna nove) as mentioned by Samaritan take this as positive……..

Will not rule out the possibility of George Steuarts becoming a listed Company next year.
