Sri Lanka had no tourists in November of 2020, the same as in the previous seven months, due to the termination of all passenger flight & ship arrivals into Sri Lanka from 18th March 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic. Considering January to November period of 2020, visitors' number tumbled by 69.7 percent to 507,311 with the biggest decline recorded from China (-82.7 percent to 26,147), the UK (-68.8 percent to 55,455), Germany (-71.8 percent to 34,507), India (-70.9 percent to 89,357) and Russia (-28.4 percent to 49,397). Visitors from Europe became the largest source of tourists to Sri Lanka with 55.4% of total arrivals from January to November, while that of Asia Pacific accounted 35.7% of total arrivals. source: Ceylon Tourist Board
