Hold your shares without realizing losses. Average if there are such requirements. Buy if you have money!
Recovery will be just as swift when it turns around.
Yes dear but how long we are going to hold this is the third consecutive day.
If it stops that's fine![]()

Tomorrow market UP...judecroos wrote:The circulars sent by CSE damaged the market sentiments and inverters trust. And the old system that could not coup with the high trading activities failed. See the foreign selling even yesterday.RJ1010 wrote:Market Halted

However, the market showed resilience at the closing stages with some purchase orders for significantly high quantities in some stocks by investors who took advantage of the melee that prevailed.
The unfortunate event took place at a time when the market outperformed other regional markets during the last several weeks and at a time when BOI, CSE and Ceylon Chamber was planning to hold the first virtual investor forum in early April this year.
In my opinion dust settled at the closing stages yesterday itself as investors became aware of the real reason for the market decline. So, i am confident the market will turn green and ASI will be on its journey towards breaking 9000 in the very near future for sure.

Seems a narrative is being pushed down gullible investors throats. Keep saying credit issue so people will not see the real reason.
Obfuscation of the truth is the name of the game in SL.

Rapid recovery too leads to market volatility. It will settle down soon and expected to have a steady gain.Kipling wrote:Samaritan
I hope so. TO & index gain good but lackluster. So far no sign of big move view?

Usually rapid rises are followed by sell offs. Its healthy to have steady steady gains (around 100 points per day) which is sustainable.Kipling wrote:Biggest rise today on Samaritan?

I said that as the market went up by about 250 points soon after opening. But the present trend would be good to sustain.Kipling wrote:Samaritan
I was only asking as you said we may have biggest rise in a single day. I also prefer 100-200 gain per day.

Shows the importance of booking profit from time to time in a volatile market which CSE has turned out to be lately. Hope no one loses their capital. When portofolios turn red it’s quite depressing but th most important aspect for a investor is patience. So stay patient until Green Day’s are back. Be smart to average any massive losses. Be wise to buy value stocks at the dip.
