As I expected BFL is going to have one of the strong balance sheets in the market and it is a Cash Cow Company now. Even during difficult period with external shocks
(Such as destruction of grain due to flood) this company has performed very well

In fact when compare with corresponding period last year they have increased their profits. As I said earlier they have better cost control and accounting systems. They can become strong competitor in the group and we should be categorized BFL as one of the group leaders available in the market

When TAFL and GRAN announced their earnings I thought BFL can have less than EPS 4. But they have announced EPS OF over 6 in this quarter

In short BFL has done exceptionally well. I expected around EPS of 30 for the current financial year and they have done it.

More than EPS I can see other attractive financial ratios and other strong indicators in this counter.

I saw beginning of massive rally for both GRAN and TAFL when they broker Rs.100 barrier. Still I didn’t rotate BFL into TAFL as I clearly said we should study at lest next six to eight quarters to get some idea about TAFL. I also said TAFL can trade above the price of GRAN depend on the some factors.

I think during this period many rotated to TAFL reducing or selling BFL BFL stagnated around Rs.400 despite one of their best quarterly results due to this factor and Both GRAN and TAFL broke even Rs.250 barrier. Some predicted they are going to break Rs.300.

Several time I traded TAFL and GRAN below Rs.100 in small quantity with mixed results time to time as I was more keen to mange my credit level.

I have given detail analysis of BFL in the past I think it is not need to tell again and again.

We can get more information from their coming strong balance sheet next to NEST.

When we analyse stocks in the same groups some stocks are very attractive to me and I like to keep those stocks in my portfolio and one has almost all the characteristics of SLIM method. When they find outstanding stock they will keep it till they get their biggest gain.

When I see long term fundaments are going to become weak, when stocks are not behaving the way I want for a considerable period and when I can replace with better stock I will reduce or sell. Otherwise I am not hurry to sell some selected stocks in my portfolio. Instead I like to accumulate whenever I see some opportunities.

More than BFL I am very keen on another hidden gem now. It doesn’t mean I have forgotten it. Still BFL is my number one stock in my portfolio due to so many factors.

Finally I am bullish on Agri-business including food, IT and IT related and tourism. I also bullish on tea as I consider it as a health drink in the world.

My method is different from others and it is only suitable for me. New players should take decisions on stocks after doing careful study

The above statement is not meant to influence anyone's decision to buy/sell/hold/ rotate any stock.

BFL is part of my portfolio at current

Please do home work before take any decision

Good luck

EPS over 30, but dividends only 2/=
Hence, how can we expect good returns from fundamentally strong stocks?

Market is tossing up from frying fan into hearth & vice versa. Lack of funds ( after chasing new IPOs & retailing interest on illiquid shares) does not push up fundamentally strong shares. My personal view on BFL still shows the validity of its strength unless unforeseeable event makes a barrier on chickens' forward march. Also, there is a high possibility that both GRAN & TAFL follow the track of chicken master. Unfortunately so far nothing has been read of the remedial actions taken in order to correct the serious market plummet.

Theoretically the companies which has good investment options are not expected to pay big dividends, the retention is expected to reflect in the market value of the share as multiplied by the growth rate.

all three stocks are technically buys. RSI below 30 range. Bollinger Bands also indicate a buy.

BFL, TAFL and GRAN RALLY? Bfl_bm11

BFL, TAFL and GRAN RALLY? Gran_b11

BFL, TAFL and GRAN RALLY? Tafl_b11

Whats Bollinger bands:
The use of Bollinger Bands varies widely among traders. Some traders buy when price touches the lower Bollinger Band and exit when price touches the moving average in the center of the bands. Other traders buy when price breaks above the upper Bollinger Band or sell when price falls below the lower Bollinger Band. Moreover, the use of Bollinger Bands is not confined to stock traders; options traders, most notably implied volatility traders, often sell options when Bollinger Bands are historically far apart or buy options when the Bollinger Bands are historically close together, in both instances, expecting volatility to revert back towards the average historical volatility level for the stock.
When the bands lie close together a period of low volatility in stock price is indicated. When they are far apart a period of high volatility in price is indicated. When the bands have only a slight slope and lie approximately parallel for an extended time the price of a stock will be found to oscillate up and down between the bands as though in a channel.
Traders are often inclined to use Bollinger Bands with other indicators to see if there is confirmation. In particular, the use of an oscillator like Bollinger Bands will often be coupled with a non-oscillator indicator like chart patterns or a trendline; if these indicators confirm the recommendation of the Bollinger Bands, the trader will have greater evidence that what the bands forecast is correct.

Whats RSI:
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a technical indicator used in the technical analysis of financial markets. It is intended to chart the current and historical strength or weakness of a stock or market based on the closing prices of a recent trading period. The indicator should not be confused with relative strength.
The RSI is classified as a momentum oscillator, measuring the velocity and magnitude of directional price movements. Momentum is the rate of the rise or fall in price. The RSI computes momentum as the ratio of higher closes to lower closes: stocks which have had more or stronger positive changes have a higher RSI than stocks which have had more or stronger negative changes.
The RSI is most typically used on a 14 day timeframe, measured on a scale from 0 to 100, with high and low levels marked at 70 and 30, respectively. Shorter or longer timeframes are used for alternately shorter or longer outlooks. More extreme high and low levels—80 and 20, or 90 and 10—occur less frequently but indicate stronger momentum.
The level of the RSI is a measure of the stock's recent trading strength. The slope of the RSI is directly proportional to the velocity of a change in the trend. The distance traveled by the RSI is proportional to the magnitude of the move. Traditionally, RSI readings greater than the 70 level are considered to be in overbought territory, and RSI readings lower than the 30 level are considered to be in oversold territory. In between the 30 and 70 level is considered neutral, with the 50 level a sign of no trend.

Good luck

This guy posted the same way few months back and dissapeared. and now started again. I think he's not the real one.

Hence, how can we expect good returns from fundamentally strong stocks?

4/= dividend payment for 2010/2011. Interim Div 2/= in December and Final Dividend 2/= in July 2011

Growth stocks may not always pay a good divident as they will use the cash for growth. their EPS growth and the PE decline need to be watched. Look at berkshire (WB) they pay less divident but the share is trading at upward levels. When a company pays a huge devident and the major shareholders are looking for it this means that the company is looking at less growth or taking loans for growth. This will bring down the EPS in the long run.Thats what I feel.

Seems like not many people are interested in selling their TAFL and BFL shares. Could this be a sign of good times to come??

This is not a buy or sell recomendation.

most probably TAFL & GRAN will have price bands today ,but BFL will not ,but BFL price depend on TALF (as i see today) so,if TAFL will have it's price band today it will affect BFL
(not a recommodation just advice )
