As I expected BFL is going to have one of the strong balance sheets in the market and it is a Cash Cow Company now. Even during difficult period with external shocks
(Such as destruction of grain due to flood) this company has performed very well
In fact when compare with corresponding period last year they have increased their profits. As I said earlier they have better cost control and accounting systems. They can become strong competitor in the group and we should be categorized BFL as one of the group leaders available in the market
When TAFL and GRAN announced their earnings I thought BFL can have less than EPS 4. But they have announced EPS OF over 6 in this quarter
In short BFL has done exceptionally well. I expected around EPS of 30 for the current financial year and they have done it.
More than EPS I can see other attractive financial ratios and other strong indicators in this counter.
I saw beginning of massive rally for both GRAN and TAFL when they broker Rs.100 barrier. Still I didn’t rotate BFL into TAFL as I clearly said we should study at lest next six to eight quarters to get some idea about TAFL. I also said TAFL can trade above the price of GRAN depend on the some factors.
I think during this period many rotated to TAFL reducing or selling BFL BFL stagnated around Rs.400 despite one of their best quarterly results due to this factor and Both GRAN and TAFL broke even Rs.250 barrier. Some predicted they are going to break Rs.300.
Several time I traded TAFL and GRAN below Rs.100 in small quantity with mixed results time to time as I was more keen to mange my credit level.
I have given detail analysis of BFL in the past I think it is not need to tell again and again.
We can get more information from their coming strong balance sheet next to NEST.
When we analyse stocks in the same groups some stocks are very attractive to me and I like to keep those stocks in my portfolio and one has almost all the characteristics of SLIM method. When they find outstanding stock they will keep it till they get their biggest gain.
When I see long term fundaments are going to become weak, when stocks are not behaving the way I want for a considerable period and when I can replace with better stock I will reduce or sell. Otherwise I am not hurry to sell some selected stocks in my portfolio. Instead I like to accumulate whenever I see some opportunities.
More than BFL I am very keen on another hidden gem now. It doesn’t mean I have forgotten it. Still BFL is my number one stock in my portfolio due to so many factors.
Finally I am bullish on Agri-business including food, IT and IT related and tourism. I also bullish on tea as I consider it as a health drink in the world.
My method is different from others and it is only suitable for me. New players should take decisions on stocks after doing careful study
The above statement is not meant to influence anyone's decision to buy/sell/hold/ rotate any stock.
BFL is part of my portfolio at current
Please do home work before take any decision
Good luck

This is not a buy or sell recomendation.
