15 FEB 21 Sri lanka Capitol Market's Minister Ajith Nivad Cabral Hints SHORT TERM Target for CSE - ASPI 10725
He says we are now having a value of USD 17Billion due to undue reasons & even with a modest growth we Should be having at least USD 24Billion
So 8 can touch 10725
Who knows ??
They must be on a track to achive that
So ASPI 7597÷ USD B17
X USD 24
This Mathamatical Calculation shows ASPI can touch
10725
Just ANC Must be giving a Hint

Only with retailers  money..?? Then brokers need to give 100% credit to every retailer. or he may has plans to bring more foreign funds and local institutions.

LOL -How do u know ? wait and see how many Chinese funds are planning to Come - It may be bad in long term to Sri Lanka  In coming days new IPO will COME from GOSL and many Chinese funds will come

Apart from that don't u remember we almost touched ASPI 9000 and to go to 10000 with local big ballooners and Black money  is simple  even more than 10000 is very possible foreign funds is not that much of a issue in the short term

And mind you  check lots of Foreign funds life IFC will  invest in blue chips in the coming months Don't underestimate  a very capable and active minister

I hate all politicians are corrupts that is a different story
lets wait and see - I feel we may see ASPI 1000 By march end

Positive momentum should kick in soon. I’ll be looking at Aspi carefully to see the trend. With the initial bull run we saw turnover exceeding 10B a day but now it’s half that. We’l need the big players to return to action to have the market moving positively again. A lot of companies had done well past quarter so a run is imminent.

Capital market minister should have better plans to attract foreign funds and institutes to lift CSE to next level rather than promoting local credit to boost CSE.

Cant see foreign funds and institutes coming in anytime this year. Rupee depreciating is not a good sign for foreigners. If the pandemic goes off by end of this year then next year depending on the economic situation and direction we can see. All depends on how GOSL and CBSL come out of the MMT strategy and boosting local production and exports. A lot of countries are also printing money and following MMT practice this year. $ reserves are much needed and exports and tourism are critical. Economy is in the balance and can go either way depending on how well CBSL can control the $ reserves in the country. Support from China can be expected. Pakistan, which is also caught up in Chinas grasp coming here to talk with the GOSL is also a good sign. Some support is there. A lot will also depend on getting the Port City up and running and drawing FDIs.
