The Windforce shares will be lodged in the CSE in the first week of April and trading will begin on April 22nd. The basis of allocation will come through the CSE announcement next week.

The Windforce listing will happen tomorrow (16th). Trading will happen on the 22nd April.

Positives for WIND,

- Mainly into Renewable energy, therefore supply side disruption is not significant such as Oil / Coal Prices.
- Revenue is fixed for next 10 / 20 through PPAs. As long as expenses are managed, Profit can be earned.
- Company has paid about LKR 1 rupee Dividend which is 5.5% Dividend yield.
- Foreign Funds buy shares open market which can lead to price increase.
- Close to 50% capacity comes from abroad. So USD earner.
- All valuations indicates 20+ share price
- 45MW, 2.2Bn Project in Pipeline which will be commissioned in 2022. (Initial years CEB pays higher rate as per PPA).

Once the IPO retail Investors have offload there QTYs at 18/19, can expect uptrend.

I have no doubt about the prospects of the renewable energy sector. However, do not be emotionally attached to any particular stock but go with the facts.

In my view "Goldern Ara" for WIND is almost in the past.
Intelligent management timely went for IPO which dilute the ownership of the founders who benefitted its peak performance (historically maintained high payout ratio).

Accordingly, for many of their plants higher tariff rates enjoyed end by mid-2020 or between 2020-2022. In some of the cases, tariff reduces almost to half which directly affects revenue and profitability. However, newly commissioned plants compensate for this to some extend.

WIND is anyway a good company..... but I want you to be mindful of tariff revisions and its implication to profitability. Smile
