Hi guys,

Hope this week too continue the momentum CSE got is last week.

In last week the ASPI closed at 8,931.33 up 10.62 points (+0.12%) on Friday while the more liquid S&P SL20 index closed at 3,345.25 up 18.17 points (+0.55%). Turnover was recorded at LKR 16,487,100,682 (USD 82.3mn). Transportation, Food, Beverage & Tobacco, Capital Goods and Materials sectors led activity, collectively accounting for 80.2% of turnover. Foreigners recorded a net inflow of LKR 12.4mn while their participation declined to 0.7% of turnover (previous day 2.3%). Net foreign buying topped in LOFC.N at LKR 28.4mn (USD 141k) while net foreign selling topped in DIAL.N at LKR 15.6mn (USD 78k). Crossings accounted for 3.3% of turnover with 3 crossings recorded in DIPDN (LKR 202.1mn; USD 1.0mn), 4 crossings in HAYLN (LKR 129.0mn; USD 644k), 1 crossing each in GREGN (LKR 73.5mn; USD 367k), BILN (LKR 40.0mn; USD 200k), SDBN (LKR 38.5mn; USD 192k), CLNDN (LKR 37.4mn; USD 187k) and HNBX (LKR 21.7mn; USD 108k). Market P/E was 10.83.
 
The ASPI gained 691.27 points (+8.39%) during the week while the S&P SL20 gained 293.61 points (+9.62%). Turnover averaged LKR 11,010mn, improving from LKR 4,237mn previous week.
