Guys what do u think of FIRST CAPITAL HOLDINGS PLC? I feel its a hidden GEM!
EPS 9.23, hence It's P/E is around 2.2, isn't that awesome?
why is it trading around 20? shouldn't it be trading much much higher? Or am i missing some thing here??

EPS 9.23 include one time sell off of LAMB.. excluding these one off profits , EPS is around 3-4 .. So using operational EPS , PER is around 5-7 still very much undervalued in the financial sector.

friend there Profit before tax 605 million where as Profit after tax 983 million, the reasons explain in the Note no 9.1 and i am in the opinion this will not happen in the future, so what will be PER is we take the PBT and remove the LAMB disposal

Friend, can't we consider that as one of their business?? wouldn't they invest that money into some other company and later sell and gain a capital increase?

yeah according to report , operating profit excluding LAMB deal and tax reversal is 570 million rupees.
Therefore if we take PAT around 500 then EPS nearly 5.
thus, trailing PER is around 4 bit lower than my earlier figures of 5-7.

in any case it is little undervalued comapare to some overvalued financial counters.

theoritically we can because CFVF started as venture capital firm. they buy and sell companies with a gain.it can be consider as one of thier business. however when we value company by operational profits we usually exclude those one time gains.

There should be a reason why some shares trade in lower PEs regardless of their fundamentals, Question Question
btw if such undervalued counters start to run,you cant stop, they will appreciate in big values in short days
Ex-BRWN(124-250)
COLO(120-250)
UML(120-280)
BFL(100-500)
etc,
above are some prices i bought them, dont rmmber the exact time scratch

I feel this is one of the best short term options at the moment...they have a fair amount of excess cash which could be easily turned to an attractive dividends....

It's true that this share is at the low level than it's normal price but we can't guaranteed this as it's bottom price so you need to study more about the FIRST CAPITAL HOLDINGS PLC. I'm personally relive that this share undervalued in current market
