Dear investors and traders

you all know that I am beginner to CSE

can you please explain me what are the reasons to a stock go UP or DOWN ?

I heard that it is depend on annual report. If that is so How can it move day by day?

because reports normally come 2 for year or 4 for year

I think SEC need to abolish credit rules if they want marekt up.
otherwise this bear market contitnue.

This is what i think it is. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Once in the secondary market stocks have no value. Unless you have a larger percentage of a company's stocks so that you can have some control over the decision making of the company.

Other thing is the dividends. If dividends are the only way trader can make a profit nobody would buy them. 10 cents per share dividends what is that? Rolling Eyes

The main reason why stocks go up or down is the demand. That's what "they" say.

As a beginner I too have questions about that.
Why stocks have a demand when you know that after you bought them you can't do anything with them, unless sell it to someone who willing to pay higher price.
then again same question why does that second person want to buy that.

Yes its true that share represents a ownership of a company, but with 1000 DIALOG shares what kind of ownership you have? what can you do with that? why people buy them? why market is going down? why people need money? why ......

In simple terms it is the demand and supply that determine the price of a share just like any other commodity in a free market. There are countless factors that may affect the demand and supply of shares. Higher demand will result with higher price and lower demand will result with lower price.

Also note that it is not only the facts that determine the demand and supply of shares. The emotions play a significant role as well.
