With regard to SOFT, I think SEC should be held accountable for allowing to price the IPO share Rs. 29/= when the private placement people have got it for Rs. 7.20.

Also we should should not buy the products and services offered by these companies.

It is very clear that the people who have traded today are the Private Placement people. All the retailers have been ripped off.

SAKVITHI is better i think.

Let me recall Tubal's signature for the 5th time..

There isn't a law that says you need to buy into an IPO/Introduction on the first day.
The law doesn't say you have to subscribe to each and every IPO.
The law enforcement authorities can't protect you against your own stupidity

Munath akka tharaha wela nose kapa gannawa wage wadak ne. IPOs are not mandatory as my good friend player said so it was up to you to decide whether you are applying or not by studying company's prospectus. Yea SEC is responsible for some extent allowing these companies to treat 2 block of investors in 2 ways. They seems to be in deep sleep and suddenly wake up and make useless changes in rules, oh keep wake up.Brokers also promotes IPO like a sale, now all these sales have been caught to a tsunami, even washing away brokers killing investors.

See how many good counters are there at current Mkt with promising future. for example i can mention few like Smll, Odel,LGL,MBSL,NTB,TFC,Tyre,RHL,Eden,Ctld,CFLB,.

Only thing retailers can do is avoiding these unethical IPOs and not buy any good from these unethical companies.

The greatest people power as investors is to choose not to invest. That's why there is disclosure and prospectuses - you can see what the private placement was and then compare that to the IPO price and make a decision. You can listen to what the promoters say and decide if you believe them or not. Come one guys take a look in the mirror behave blaming all and sundry.

I'm afraid People will not subscribe to it because not that they did any research but because softlogic did not gave any cash in 1st day and CIFL is the next upcoming IPO!!

And yes there are sooo many treads detailing about the CIFL situation! Also when you consider the amount of advertising they have to put up to get this sold and even fake IDs made here to promote the share this will be another carnage!! Although there is always the chance that this might not get fully subscribed!!
