when u notice the behaviour of YORK .. i feel its getting ready for a marathan am going to buy at 35 levels ..
pls say your ideas

Pls dont take this as a recomandation for buy - but heard they are going for a RIGHT ISSUE & there after for a sub divition 03 for 1 ..
i think some others also got this infor today evening - some of them say YORK will touch 40 by tomorrow and will go on up to 60 levels ..

lets see tomorrow its a fundamently valued stock i feel - correct me if am wrong am going to collect it if possible at 35-37 levels tomorrow

You told in another topic "YORK IS GOING FR A RIGHTS ISSUE and there after a SPLIT - 02 FOR 1 .." now you are telling "sub division 03 for 1".What is the right one?(This is not a argument only for Know)

One of my friend also tell me that the YORK will go up to double the price (means 80Rs Smile

i asked what will be the reason , He told me about right issue and all, but he told if you like u bye.

they are planing split & then a right issue and there after subdivision ..am too surprised lots of ppl on the floor says it might reach 120 before AUG ...this is only what i heard from a friend who knows whats happaning inside the board room of YORK - So am collecting from tommorow

you all take yr own positions ..win or loose

With all thses happanings they are going re value there assetest -= lands in colombo fort - that will change the VALUE of this shares in a big way ...they are also going to go in fr new projects relateed to tourisam

When a company announce a rights issue these days everybody knows what will happen to the Share price. Pl study MAL,SEYB,LDEV,CRL reactions to RIGHTS issue announcement. Share price of all those stocks were dropped following the announcement.This is not happened under the normal condition. Actually it should be other way around. But today in our market, supply is increasing rapidly(with nonstop IPOs and RIGHT Issues) while demand is gradually coming down. That reflects the shortfall of liquidity in the market.

Therefore we have to be very careful at this time when we take decisions to buy shares purely on the reason of right issue and split.

This is not to encourage or discourage anyone's buying/selling/holding decisions.Just my view only. I may be totally wrong.

i agree with Kam2011 in sri lankan market most of investter are sturck in most stock so no money to buy shares even if the shares have good value and even if company come up with good announcement so do reaseach and buy any shares at the movement .

I have collected some 10000 York Today ..average is 32 ..am confident its going to move towards 40 mark ..next fewdays with good news thats expected ...to cpome out b4 tuesday..
