My portfolio is now becoming to touch the floor. Shall i sell all and keep the balance .Is it ok? But I am loosing big amount.
What is the future of this market? Is any can predict?

If there is holding ability not worth selling low. .....Future may be credit free bubble free solid investments. ...........I never exit with losses under panic circumstances.

Its very difficult to answer your question without having the list of companies in your PF.

As a general answer I would like to say; if you have good companies with sound fundermentals keep it, if you have followed some rallies and has bought at the peak, check out the long term trend for past 5years and decide whether its worth to keep any longer till it recovers to the bought value.

This market correction is quite possibly be the 1st market correction that many new investors experience, including myself. So this will be good learning process if you can wither this period.

I expect this trend to continue till August mid-end unless SEC or ETF/EPF do something to artificially prop up the market.

go to forum search,you can find lot of discussions what our seniors told abt buying shit counters..
btw dnt worry bro/sis,now you have to hold and be a long term investor,now dnt sell and suffer,mkt will be ok in any time Very Happy

You should never sell stocks when the market is going down.

Whatever goes down will go up again. Its a natural rule.

Seems like if you sell them off now you will incure a big loss.. Hold it for sometime.. Seems like you have bought some of the shares at a peak..

NTB will restore a the levels you bought at and will have a go from there in the long run..CHOT was trading at 45s after the war and they closed down most of their hotels to upgrade them to the international standards... SO they might come out with ordinary performance but this is a highlyundervalued share considering their NAVPS... SUN too is good as a long term investment..

Dear Ranjani.May be u are a novice to the mkt. As always your "brokeraya" might nodded his or her empty head when ever you ask, Malli/Nangi Would i buy this.

You seem to be a comparatively, with me and Player, big investor. Hop all these shares bough on cash not on credit, if so you are one step ahead. Next thing that you have to do is getting divorced form the cse for a some period of times,if you are satisfied come back later, otherwise you can get back your dowry with a minimal loss.

Dont loos your hope, bend of the road is not the end of the road. every one of us is suffering these days cos of this mkt chaos,not only you. Wish you good luck!

Ur first concern should be CLPL W12 as they are going to cnvert it in to share.
Exercise price is Rs102/=(102*25000=2550000)
U will really need some money. They will probably extend the due date.
U can hold on to other chares they will recover.

You seems to have been entered in to the mkt with the excitement of the peak period in 2010, hopping a massive capital gain as we all expected.

Other thing is we should not buy stocks in bulks specially when buying from top. Bye around 2000 and c if shares goes down, we cn buy from bottom and make a good avg price.

Your PF is good one for a long term investment. In 2 , 3 years, you will get a good capital gain.

Have to deal very carefully with warrants. I hope you purposely bought these CLPL warrants knowing that in the conversion you have to pay Rs.102 for each. Then you should not worry , money might have been kept away for this purpose. If you bought them to sell before conversion, its a problem.Now w12 is trading around 3. The best thing that you can to do t is ,selling these warrants with a loss instead of finding new money. If you are gonna convert them, you have to pay around 2.5m, if you decide to sell them, your lose will be around 400k. so you better think and decide considering your financial status as well.

Thanks everybody who has given advises & encourage me. Now I am gode goda with other remaining shares. But I had a massive loss with CLPL 12. But I try to cover the loss with this rocket market.
