There is nothing to worry as long as you have invested in the companies doing well and having potential for future growth.

Although the CSE continue to fall, the economy of the country and the performance of the majority of public companies continue to improve. So if you are not on credit and have no urgency for cash, just leave your investment and you will gain in the long term.

YesStocksWatch. Good point.

Almost all the companies are performing well and expect they could maintain this heathy situation for mid to long term. East and north real economic growth is yet to reach. Rubber price is continuesely increasing. Agri and fihing industries are also growing in those provinces. With increasing per capita income we can expect business expansion in many areas. So nothing to worry. CSE will back to previous position. It's a matter of time.We have to be brave enough to face dificult situation like this.

mmm, tough one this. Today's recovery might signal the start of a bear market rally. On the other hand it's now obvious that the slide was halted not because of fundamentals, technicals or a change of investor optimism but by a system fault at several brokerage houses!! (refer thread about directfn by another poster). When systems were restored selling returned but this time there were enough people around to buy as well.

Monday could be very interesting.

i don't know about bear rallies, infact I'm skeptical of it. Unless we get a bunch of spanking reports out ASAP.but I don't buy your theory about the bounce as well. If all brokerages were selling & buying equally, then wouldn't taking a number of them out simply mean lower volumes at the same supply & demand rate.

I think the market went down way too fast in the morning, ran out of gas and rebounded.

Do not get panic.
Everything move in circular passion. There will be upward movement.
Just be patient and hold on.
Last year market moved up unbelievebly.so there has to be a downfall.
This is nature.
Look even in Bangladesh now market is recovering.
Just wait and see.

I am sorry I don't think I have understood the comment about bear rallies, can you explain that a bit please (do you mean such things don't exist?)

Thanks

Tubal, so do you think this is just another bear rally. We all know bear rallies exist and it can go on for 1-2 days to weeks. But if so it will come back to the original levels. Please advice.
