then u will realize there's a hiiden agenda ...

tell your friends to hold on to BLUE/YORK if they hv ..both might go to 15 & 50 respectively ..

If this piece of news is right we are sincerely awaiting for some positive turnaround in the market.

What we saw last few weeks or months is very pathetic situation and further continuation would have eroded the ASI/MPI and eventually top level would have seen some red light to indicate enough is enough.

In short personaly I like to see some change and there should be right people
to run the affairs of the governing body.

Rules are good if implement at the right time without affecting the flow. What we saw last few months was rules introduced in a harsh manner without giving much thought to the operation of the stock market. Now the damage is done and it will be difficult or will take time to acquire the lost prestige as worlds best performing stock market and attract foreign and local investors to the market unless they have confidence in this market.

We now look forward to a fresh beginning and hope that some light can be seen in this long dark tunnel in coming days(If this piece of news is right) and wish that new changes (if any) will replace what we have lost during last few months.

Also Sanjaya thank you very much for your contributions in giving us this kind of sensitive news in advance at a time we are at a distress.

Many investers like us are expecting a positive intervention from govt and regulators..
WE SHOULD EXPECT MORE AND MORE THEN THIS SHOULD TURN AS INVESTORS' DEMAND!
Then definitely these black days of CSE will get stopped. GOVT will do something OR Govt has no other coice to intervene and induce a bull run...

Market might go up with the government victory in the local elections. Not because anything else. With this victory, it is shown to the world that democracy has been implemented in north and east up to a significant level. This will draw foriegn investors to the SL market.

Also if any one would have following CNN, BBC and Aljasira, it is clearly said USA is rushing towards a solution for their debt crisis on 14.3 trillion before the Asian markets start on Monday. It is again and again said USA is strongly in a need to show a progress before the market is open to stop their investors leaving US and heading towards Asia.

We might see sudden interest of foreign buying from tomorrow due all these factors.

Being said this, keep in mind, anything is possible in Sri Lanka and in Colombo Stock exchange.
