Hi friends, I noticed a director of Brown and Co PLC Mr S V Somasunderan has collected a lot of shares during June 2011 [there are 5 announcements in cse site] between Rs 317-345. Hope he may be expecting this to go up. It has touched Rs 404 in May 2011.[52 weeks high on 20th May 2011-Rs 404.90]

12 months ended 31st march 2011 profits were up 185% when compared with 2010. But, the current price is around 287/-. If 30th June 2011 quarter ended profits are good this may have a good run. The director's collecting might be a hint about financials. Your comments pls.

Do not go blindly after directors or HNWI. If the financials are good,share is undervalue and market trend(depending on investers stratergy ie shortterm or longterm) is good then u can invest.

But remember if u play wise u can earn even going after rallies.

i think once the quarterly result come can see how the performance. Still i think that is the good share with current price

My dear friend. do not worry to think about this share. this is my loving share. believe me i am only having this & waiting until it start the run. to me this one is undre value. as at 31/03/2011 the EPS was 29.12. sector PE is 21-22. so share price can hit even 550-600. even they have good cash balance also. review my friend its financials. it is better to collect at this level, before start the rally.

its already went up above 375 level again can touch the same level

Wasnt this analysed in detail by some members, the end result was that they had 98% of profits from other income please advise,

@Osmand please.

There is good momentum on BRWN….. Along with movement seen on BIL both can be attractive……. Month end settlement pressure comes to an end next week onwards …. it is good for the entire market…..both shares continue to show further improvement in fiancial results....

BRWN can demonstrate a steady upward movement in a green market..... good fiancials ....future prospects.... group is performing well,,,.... Smile
