What s the point in buying a share @ 300% high, when a split is announced, I really fail to undestand

i don't know whether this will also ended up like WAPO, but still there are some friends of bought the WAPO at the top! don't know whether now they disposed it?

This MAY beyond WAPO. Because {(due to @Amila's thinking) WAPO is 75:2 and EMER is 70 : 1}

People earned a huge amount from WAPO and it went up because of the extremely attractive right issue! this is a stupid split and the share price should have dropped drastically than going up! This is considering that now this share will not be another illiquid counter!

In WAPO even people bought at extreme top before the right issue made a fortune! Here the people who buy this share at these levels going to slaughtered like pigs without some major major manipulation!

Generally splits are considered good things in the market, and rights issues a bad thing. Last year LOLC, SPEN, BUKI, CARS, RICH and many other companies went up buy massive amounts when splits were announced. In anycase there is nothing negative about a split. They increase liquidity making them safer investments, especially for HNWI's.

I bet on my whole portfolio value that 3 months in to the share split this share will drop more than 20% of its initial value at the point of split!

Nobody is talking about what's going to happen three months after the split.

I WAS put a oder EMER 100@ 1000 but i was canceled it,after 2 minute it was going 2250 ............................ 125000 profit going out '' pina na kiyanne okata ''

I think all those iliquid shits should be subdivided.. otherwise they are easy to manupulate because public share holding is very low

Or make them really expensive so that every tom dick and harry can't buy them. That's what buffets company does each share of that company costs 109150 usd as of now.
