Theoretically it should trade above NAVS, which is 29.65.
Also, time they have +ve eps of 0.68 (mainly from this Q +0.69, last Q -0.01).

So, looking at current value, I think this is a good share which is at least worth 29.65.

According to my past observations, the momentum carries the price well beyond the share value. So my guess is it may pass 40 and then come back to 25~30 level.
The sad part is we might sell all we have below 25 and then mistakenly buy above 40.

now manipulators know how to deal with price band.
i don't think EAST will up this much, if price band not imposed, lot of will sold out at 16~20 range.

I don't like this treating as manipulation; actually this is a late recognition of real value.

* Net assets Rs 29.65/- last valuation done on 2009. We all know property value shoot up with the end of war, so what would be the current value….?
* There main asset “Seylan tower” stood at a location where strategically very important (in front of Crest cat, Beach side, adjourned bare land and British high commission property) just think..
I don’t think that the company is in the correct business; therefore it is not fare to value the share price based on earnings but to consider about the real value of the tangible assets.

I tried to bring your attention to this share on day before yesterday as Rs. 13.50. through “ How about CSD”.

Anyway I believe you all not too late even now.

this is not against this share, i also eying on this than year ago. but if u have monitored trading pattern today, u can see that clearly.

this is not against this share, i also eying on this than year ago. but if u have monitored trading pattern today, u can see that clearly.

Yes your are right... Im also watching this share last few months. seems it's a undervalued share. Hope for the best...

she was the first one told about this according to TA and other sources, many buggers may boast now to buy,but there is ppl who identify share before rise,there was a big collection below 12 at that time.....

CSD will have a bright future.

There were changes made to the Management during the second half of the last year with new appointments being made both at the board level and the senior
managerial levels. Company is going through a restructuring process. Losses were cut down to 445k in the last quarter on the contrary to the last year 22,635k. Expect this to be in the positive profit region in the coming quarter.

Continuous improvements in the main income stream which is rental income. Losses are due to making provisions relating to Ceylinco group exposure that had to be made last year in accordance with the Sri Lanka Accounting standards.

Company's strategy for 2011 is to divert focus from property development to property management.

Arrangements were made to settle outstanding statutory dues and other payables through the money pumped by the right issue which will reduce finance expenses. So, from next quarter, probably CSD will be a profitable company. After the fully superscribed rights issue , their debt and interest costs are to go down and they are reaching 100% occupancy levels.

They have assets in Colombo (including Seylan Tower) revalued in 2009, before the current boom.
After the current up trend in land and building value in Colombo they may get a huge increase if they revalue.

Plus we can see some visionary investors like DP, Dr Senthil, MM Udeshi, Swiss Lloyd Ltd have some big chunks.

NAVPS as at 31-03-2011 = 47.56, even with the 1:1 dilution it's worth more than Rs.29/- when the inflation is matched.
