LOL if you referring to me you must have some serious problem as most people don't camp here and do have a life and a job! I just got home today after work at around 9pm and never had a chance to check even todays market!

Also whats the problem ? Are the people here gone again so retard can't even read a proper finical statement ?
From my 1st glance I'm spot on with the EPS for the quarter! Go check what I posted before please about these plantations!
They have posted EPS of rs 1.25 that's with adding costs for gratuity and arrears ! Without that is the EPS is Rs 7.68 or gross profit of rs 192 million!

What i posted even like a week ago was considering no addition of extra chargers like MAL did they should EPS of Rs 6.50 -8! In fact they have shown EPS towards the top end range of my expectations! So I'm quite happy with the results and so would anyone with a brain who knows anything about the industry! We will be able to see how the company keep performing here after the wage hike and I have quite a big faith in the company with the current rubber prices!

Hopefully for the next financial year the EPS would be Rs 20-30! which means a really undervalued company in CSE considering no wage hike for 2 more years!

PS:- You should actually praise people like me who rightly predict all reports beforehand as I did for DIMO KGAL and BFL among many others, compared with the retard lot here that keep on promoting same stocks with false numbers and theories!

Is it ok to buy KGAL & NAMU at these prices or is it better to wait till close to next quarter?

glad

Now that most plantation companies have dealt with the issues relating to wage hike it will all depend on the weather and world market prices. If both are favourable then the present prices look attractive to me.

you do not have to publicly accept that m8! I know it already same as you many others here! I was in a training section in gall and that is why it took so long to get home but things don't come and drop in your lap! Ever person have to work hard and the problem today is with all the spoiled children with their parents many thinking they can become billioners by staying in front of an computer!
People can't become KDDP or HJ unless you exploit laws like making slot machines or selling drugs but to work hard towards it! But I will remember your advice once I come to a position like KDDP or HJ. Maybe then you can come around and ask me for favor for predicting this!

Either its you that has it up your .... or i can't read properly! Because as far as I can see NAMU has not made a loss and thats after huge gratuity and old wage hike payments! In reality they have made higher EPS compared with their last quarter!
Anyway why should I care as I already sold my NAMU lot around rs 135 after last quarter not so great results!

rajitha, I was expecting a less cliched comeback, especially considering your self-proclaimed intelligence. Oh well Rolling Eyes

NAMU made a loss for the quarter, the only reason they ended up even with a measly .05 eps was because RICH didn't charge a management fee. I also have a sneaky suspicion they pushes some of those finance costs back as well, but we'll see how that unravels in the coming months.

Also, didn't you lecture me on how rubber tapping cannot be effected by weather conditions in june quarter . Can you explain, for the benefit of us plebs, why rubber revenue is so low this quarter.

Hope that this bit heated arguments and counter arguments wont be a reason to Rajitha to stop contributing to this forum.. Rajitha truly is a EXPERT in PLANTATION sector... we need his analysis to this forum... people like Rajitha add extra bit to this forum... But rajitha must accept that his predictions went totally wrong... and we should move on as a team.. people lets keep this at a side for a while and lets move on... future is bright

KGAL planning to Diversify in to new areas as well, which will improve its net in future. Already it has a healthy GP margin and Strong Balance Sheet

..The scenic beauty of the plantations and the Plantation Bungalows with old world charm will contribute to the latest venture of the Group in the leisure sector and the tourism industry. (Annual Report: March 2011: Page 7).

KGAL has Inveted 225 Mn in Arpico Insurance. (Jun3 '11 Interim statement , page 4, Note 5). Softlogic purchased 73.53% of AAIC, and the balance 25% Richard pireis has a stake which Analyst predict soon they will exit to start up their own Insurance Arm.And KGAL Investment proves it

LOL this is coming from a person who keeps insulting me when I wasn't at any one and making sense! Its called a Mirror Go have a look at it!

And yes you can't read clearly like some here I'm sorry for your illiteracy! Because NAMU have not made a loss as I told already!
Also I never lecture you on how rubber tapping cannot be effected by weather conditions in june quarter. That is your hysteria again playing games with you hear I'm afraid! All I have said in past was the rain guards will improve the amount of days rubber plantations can tap rubber!

Phew.. back after 5 days and most of the companies seem to have shown really alarming results..

EPS of 1.27 for the Qtr is no way near my expectations for the period, however if you remove this 162Mn gratuity provision
the COS comes around 474 Mn which in terms of gross profits be 219.6 Mn and which would actually give you
a PAT figure around 154 Mn. This give us an EPS figure of 6 at least.

So I dont honestly think its the fault of KGAL deciding it to be announced with June Qtr earnings when MAL & BALA were
still to show these figures as innam said.
Somehow or other all these plantations must come up with these kinda figures in future and we'll be saying the same things then too..
