Dear experts,
According to a person that I consider as a expert told me that GRAN will reach at least 175 and VONE has potential to grow to a three figures in medium to long term.
Is there any one can affirm this for me as I am thinking of these two to buy when the market is really down.,

I dont think anyone could affirm that the share would go up or down. We cant say this would happen 100% for sure. Please go through the all threads regarding the shares you need. Then you could understand what to do. And if you have a sure of your broker, please discuss with him.

Hi Friend,

I also affirm "Swan03's" comment.

No body can affirm any stock market activity.

Performance of the company, Technical charts and New transactions such as Acquisitions/Mergers etc may give hits about the stock price. But, Traders/Investers sentiment plays a vital role. Even a very experience person can make mistakes at CSE.

You can accept brokers advise for the moment.

Study the market, Read as much as possible, Try to learn technicals. You may decide on your own one day.

Anyway, you need to bear loss or profit if you expect to invest in CSE.

Gran came down from 200 level,passing 175. It might touch 175 again,but problem is when. Vone is a holding company, it will touch even 200 in long term like other conglomerates.

I think if think if you think solid investment. VONE is good than GRAN it have good group potential than GRAN. and VONE is low risk than GRAN

Nice advices from some experts here. A stock will reach its previous price levels just for the reason that it was once traded at those prices. This is a common misconception among the investors in stock markets. On the other hand a stock trading at Rs. 28 will touch three figures just because it is a conglomerate. I thought the stock markets always tend to undervalue the stocks of conglomerate businesses but that theory seems to be wrong in the eyes of these experts.

My advice to the OP (assuming that he wants to invest and not gamble) is to stay away from GRAN at least until the December quarter results are published. We still cannot forecast the true effect of the increased production costs and other expenses and judge the volatility in sales revenue. Last two quarters have produced below average results and shown a decline in profits. I have never looked at VONE and have no idea about its potential to break three figure mark whether in medium or long term.

I agree with stockwatch, with regard to GRAN this is surely not the time to go after this particular share. But, If you are very keen in buying GRAN just wait till the next quarterly results and see if there is any improvement against the same qtr last year. Then next step would be to monitor the maize cost and chicken prices in OCT / NOV and early DEC. If everything looks good it's advisable to enter before the last qtr results. I feel waiting for the last qtr results would be bit too late...

Hope this is not the rebirth of MW, who dominated one of the online forum some times back. Most of ppl know how cunningly he used so called technical elaborations and promoted chicks,specially BFL. ppl say he dumped his share of BFL when it hit 500 and vanished. did gran has this recent rally coz of their financial success,its nothing more than speculation and future prospects.Gran didnt hit 200 when their financials were worse than now.

Brothers,

Its a big relief.
This Chicken story is over at least for one year.
Go out & sell if any left overs.

Focus on something which could create value. Plantation is also lost enough to stop voicin. Focus on good sectors. Banking has been on a bad patch too. You cansee from their results. Crosss the board, results are either down or flat even after massive gain from Vat reducation.

Banking sector is doing well my dear friend. All the banks posted good profit for the last quarter except MBSL and SEYB. Seyb purely down coz of implementation of VRS, worth more than 200m. If you followed this forum, you would have read some posts regarding banking sectors good performances. Cant expect that chicken rallies are over.there will be some short rallies time to time, not like in early mega rallies where BFL even passed 500 due to promotion campaign of some ppl. I love you

I agree with StockWatch.. It is a misconception that if a share traded at one high level, it will go back to that level.. Even I was in the same opinion when I first started 5 years ago.. However, VONE is sound at the moment.. I have no idea about it reaching triple figures but it will be a good long term prospect..

Quite frankly in med- long term there are more potential shares than these two as well..
Buy GRAN when it falls to 100-120 and forget it till December, once the December month up the consumption, all poultry sector company results will be quite high..

why this ha hu about chicken? if you guys don't want buy it, it is your right and if one wants to buy it that is his right. I think some people in this dialog hate of chicken stocks........... what s the reason.......? i never saw these kind of ideas on other stocks..........
