Well it is somewhat correct. If your broker and you have a good understanding on what is to be done then he will do it.
But they cannot buy or sell unless there is credit to be settled, as gaja mentioned.

As for me, one of my brokers does trades for me and I am ok with it. This was told at first. I do not know about the legality
Another does only upon my instructions.

they say based on the relationship, when sometimes (2002) back i am new to the cse and busy, so self and broker agree that broker will do the transactions for me, so those days i don't have the knowledge as to what he bought or sell, so this also done without my knowledge, but is it right to say that broker did the transactions without my knowledge?

if you had an arrangement, then it is not ethical to say that. He may bring in profits, but mostly we won't compliment that. If he was wrong and brings a loss, then we must accept it as we accepted the profit he made.

In anywhere, long term relationships are important. One must make himself feel important to the advisor for him to be committed.
Of course he must be a knowledgeable person too.

We should do our transactions.Yes...for a new comer it is difficult but if u do it even making mistakes u will learn.

Never let them to play with your money.

They cant trade without your knowledge UNLESS You have unsettled debit.. ( ex : T + 5 Force selling which they can do without letting you know ).
