I have observed that some big guy collecting KGAL @ 150 level for last couple of weeks.
every morning he put 50,000 of buy order and collects at least 10,000 of shares.

Anyone knows when they starts Arpico Insurance. As i know they have significant stake.

true. If my memory is correct he started on the 9th Aug;
9th Aug collection was 50,000. So far he at least collected 150,000 shares. There are about 5M shares in the public holdings though. The rest of the 20M are with the top 20 shareholders. Hope they dont sell.

Yes Kama I have noticed that as well.
I'm not a big fan of plantation companies... not at all but KGAL @ 150 looks good to me.

I don't think that it's collection as such, it's more about stabilizing the price and preventing further drops.

This is mentioned in the KGAL June2011 financial report
"The Company invested in 22.5 mn ordinary shares at Rs. 10.00 per share of Arpico Insurance Ltd in June 2011 (A new Insurance
Company established under the ʺArpicoʺ brand) at Rs. 225 mn. As a result, Arpico Insurance Ltd is treated as an Associate Company
with voting rights of 45% and is in conformity with Section 185 (1) (a) of the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007."

KGAL is one of the hidden jem in CSE

Its Last Qtr EPS around Rs1. But if we remove O/B Adjustment of Gratuity Provision.
Their Recurrng EPS would be Rs 6. Then Annualized is Rs 25.

So he might be collecting on long term basis.

Will some one collect 50,000 parcels to just stabilize certain share or prevent further drop ?? Do you think so ?? If so he should be related party. Maybe Dr.S.Y. Rolling Eyes

Not only do I think so, I know so for sure. Not specifically about KGAL, but with other stocks, hence my suspicion. 50k shares at Rs 150 is a "mere" 7.5m, that's nothing for a HNWI or larger corporation. You are right though, it's most likely a related party.
