Guys, if you buy on credits, Its your fault right? And they give 5 days to clear the amount. If unable to clear, they sell your shares. Thats the rule. Its no point scolding to Capital Trust.

It means you could have kept your shares which buy on credits more than 5 days?

Yes they give loans. And you have to pay 24/% interest for a year. But Im talking about T5 day rule. No idea whether our friend talking about T5 day rule or the loan.

Just for the clarification if they give at 24% per year another 2.24% will go for transaction cost, what is return an investor can get?

Normally CT don't do force selling as per my knowledge specially after that T+5 thing is removed. I'm on credit for couple of weeks so far( Embarassed not a good thing) they didn't sell yet.

I think better to contact them and ask why they did so.

Sorry about your loss Crying or Very sad

Next week onwards force selling may not be seen … they had to send a report at the end of the month. ………..Probably that was the reason for selling. …………Market might grow steady upwards from now onwards. ……Anyway, speculative stocks are risky, still there is some credit to clear on those stocks….. Safer option is to go by financial reports. Even if they force sell such a big loss is unlikely.....

omg so 20% is the smallest loss making share u got.
haven't you been monitoring :O

surely the anger is not only cos of this but because of frustration of the overall portfolio.

its kinda ok showing that anger in the internet, but please not in real life Smile

I used to buy on credit, my broker has been very patient, but once due to lengthy delay in settling they did sell some of my shares.and I complained to the CEO, who was a classmate of mine. since then I do not buy on credit and my agent has been very polite and accommodating.
