it should be 19.50

The answer is simple. If someone trys to buy 21mn from the open market, the share price will shoots up significantly. So, its better to buy from a single seller even at a little premium.

21mn is less than 10%. Hence whoever bought, does not have to disclose to CSE.

Also, the only person who could sell that much is Rishan.

So, lets wait and see...

As per the broker, lionheart bought PCH and sold it GREG and warrants. He did not confirm the buyer of GREG and seller of PCH. There is no chance Rishan is the only one has this much of qty, I guess sometime these two parties exchange their shares.

Just look at the value of parcel crossed of GREG and PCH

PCH 21Mn@ 22 = 462Mn

GREG 4.5Mn @ 68 = 306Mn
GREG.W2 5Mn@ 32.6 = 163Mn
Total = 469Mn.

In a seemingly mutually beneficial deal, ERI’s parent and PC House bought stakes in each other yesterday whilst overall investor interest on the two also boosted turnover.
ERI’s controlling shareholder Lionhart shed 1.5% stake or 4.5 million shares in ERI at Rs. 68 each as well as 5 million warrants at Rs. 32.60 each to PC House for Rs. 469 million. In turn PCH House major shareholder M. Rishan sold 9.6% stake or 22 million shares in the company to Lionhart at Rs. 22 each in a deal worth Rs. 486 million. The two counters overall accounted for slightly over 30% of the day’s turnover. PC House saw 28.5 million of its shares traded for Rs. 611.25 million whilst ERI saw 6 million of its shares traded for Rs. 414 million.

PC House share price rose by 30 cents or 1.55% to close at Rs. 19.70 after hitting a peak of Rs. 20.60. ERI purchase was done via crossing of 21.1 million at Rs. 22 each whilst the ERI block too was traded via crossing. The share price of Environmental Resources increased by Rs. 3.20 (4.75%) and closed at Rs. 70.10.
PC House embedded Information Technology sector was the main contributor to the market turnover and the sector index increased by 1.71%. The price index of Investment Trusts sector, under which ERI trades, dipped by 1.85%.
NDB Stockbrokers said ASPI and MPI closed marginally in red while for the week the ASPI declined by 0.11% and the MPI gained 0.80%. Yesterday turnover improved to Rs. 3.34 billion, up from Rs. 2.9 billion on Thursday.
Vallibel One saw nearly 7 million of its shares traded for Rs. 201.4 million whilst Blue Diamonds accounted for Rs. 163 million with 13.58 million shares traded and Renuka Agri produced Rs. 162 million turnover on account of 21.47 million shares traded.
United Motors (UML) traded actively which also was accompanied by a notable price appreciation of 12.45% (Rs. 19.20). A volume of 773,100 shares transacted during the day. UML closed at Rs. 173.40 for the day.
SC Securities said Foreign buying and selling was almost on par with each other with foreign sales amounting to Rs. 599.70 million against foreign purchases of Rs. 595.10, resulting in a marginal net foreign outflow of Rs. 4.6 million.

My Guess is rights,i guess this might be strategic deal between both parties , Both parries are major shareholder in respective companies. Lionheart & PCH planning to dump to some of their stake to our innocent retailers. If these parties dumping directly, then confidence of these two shares is question among the investors. So this transaction would be the tool to dump of their shares easily.

So be careful with these two shares.

Yep it seems like that's what there planning to do.

Will they sell above their purchased prices?
But how? these are big quantities and if they directly dump, prices get dilute.

Based on the deal Rishan sells 9.6% stake in PCH and PCH buys ERI shares.

Buyer - PCH

If Rishan was so keen to buy ERI then he him self could have bought ERI shares with the proceeds received from the disposal....Why did he purchase through PCH???...I think he is reducing his stake in PCH at the expense of other PCH shareholders...

NO.. the way I see it; this is same as Rishard selling 10% to NP last time for immediate disposal.. It's a deal which can be red as "Win-win" most of the time..
Both shares can go up or at least PCH can go up in the short run for this news as the normal crowd take is as a good move Wink

Actually this was anticipated for a long time. The main business of the warrant factory is selling warrants, isn't it? which was at zero cost to them. This is their only revenue generator. Mark my words, this is just the beginning of a massive disposal from lionhart.

Initially uk based Lioahart fund thought SL to be the land of the apes. Now they have teamed up with a fitting accomplice. Now the news reads as PC house bought Greg Shares and warrants. And PC house does not need to disclose it when they dump these shares,warrants to retailers, which is what is going to happen.

As a return of the favour Lionhart has bought PCH shares at highprice. Which Rishan can collect at 18,17 after sometime. This plus some other favours maybe there, we dont know.

Definitely a win-win for both these. So for two big guys to win big, some body has to lose big..... That's going to be us, smallfish.
