One reason is we went down too fast and was stuck there for too long. But there's nothing to panic, there may be a correction sooner or later but the upward trend is now established.

Even though the index is racing upward very fast, I think most of the counters are showing a (comparatively) slow movement. The index is probably affected by a couple of shares which sort of makes it useless.

Anyway, overall I'm clue less at this point as to where we're headed pig

Cheers!

October 1 - 15 market should go down.(bcz reports pressure)
if we going too fast. if we unable to break the next resistance level. then market go down.
my point is if down turn start before October market in bit trouble.
i can see plenty off panic sellers are here.
and also they are buying stocks using credits if brokers are push them they will sell stocks. then selling pressure will kill the market.

maybe i am totally wrong.

There are things we can change, there are things we cannot change even though we would love to, Also there are things we cannot even imagine to change.

Whatever the situation is, make sure to grab a slice. If you don’t, someone else would grab it and all you can do is, start moaning (again).

You have to be a survivor. That should your bottom line.

I have been in this market for 11 years and same as I don’t blame SEC, I don’t blame manipulators. Yea there are times I got frustrated but I’m not in a position to change it.

End of the day it’s your money and you have to look after it.

Market appears to be too much fast but never it was. however i love the advice of ukboy. thanks for your thoughts. market should gain as it was depreciated past couple of years. there will be highs and lows but as countries move on markets also should run.

With 11 years f experience you would have seen many down and uptrend. So finally what do u think? My years f experience as not same as u. But I feel early stage was a symptom of manipulation, now it seems fundamental driven, every1 planning to join rally rather waiting more. I thk if econmic factors turn around within 3 months we cant stop this rally. Only negative news can turn around this mkt...

I'd like to see the massive profits and impressive results of the booming economy running on bond after bond. What would happen then.

I would run naked in Pettah high street if someone prove me that this run purely because market was over corrected. Hell no..! Even though some counters (LOLC, KAPI, GRAN, ACL etc) were severely over corrected, as a one unit, our market was not far from where it should be.
In 2001 market PE was below 5.0..!! (Ok there was a war).

Someone can argue that KAPI did not make any money but for Rs 15, I must say it was over corrected.

Regarding the market , Well..... Jana1 you know it's not nice to tell what I feel at the moment. Many people still holding some unrealise losses. Let me give you one hint. I have not sold anything I bought 2 weeks before. (eventhough all looking shiny Green)

But I have not bought anything last week or this week except one speculative counter (not GREG).

people were waiting too long, for no reason.

Two big idoits have gone, Mrs.Sugathadasa, and Mr.Tilak K.

The man in charge is at least 50% fit guy who understand the market

Now time to dance..

Well said man.Who talked about market manipulated up and barriers and resistance are now vanished and bull are ruling.Nothing wrong with market yet. Fundamental shares going up with foreign buying. There's long way to go.Crap and speculative shares haven't moved much yet. There's no dumping yet. When they start to run and dumped( trading high volumes with higher price level) will give the first signal of the end of bull run.So long way to go. Do you think our local players will watch fundamental shares go up and then wait till they fall to dump their shares? No.We have long way to go. cheers cheers cheers cheers
