Aug 27, 2013 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Colombo Stock Exchange has opened a branch in Ratnapura, in the Sabaragamuwa province Monday.
"The Branch will provide investors from the Sabaragamuwa Province, education and investment opportunities in shares and corporate debt listed on the CSE," the bourse said in a statement.
The CSE now has seven branches.
"The Branch will conduct educational programmes and exhibitions for students from schools and higher educational institutions in the Province."
CSE opned its first branch in 1999 in Matara. It now has branches in Kandy (2003), Kurunegala (2005), Negombo (2007), Jaffna (2010) and Anuradhapura(2013) in addition to the latest at Ratnapura.
