All I can say is this is a lie. When the PM saying that they're going to divest non strategic investments through CSE then why would they buy another company through CSE.

Last govt authorities interfered stock market with two main purposes

1 To manipulate stock market indicator to camouflage economic development

2 personal gains

This govt authorities do it merely for personal gains

No government will like to see collapse of stocks market fully. That was the reasons for providing government bails outs for some companies which include banks and insurance companies in global markets in the past. They are also supporting stock market by buying shares as well when need arise. Collapse of stock market means collapse of financial system as well. Many companies will affect and financial sector will freeze.  Therefore, there is a bottom for stocks and they will not go to the zero unless they become bankrupts.

Even in Sri-Lanka government institutional investors are buying stocks at different times.  It is better to buy great businesses stocks before buying others. If they start to buy stocks suddenly stocks prices can go up in those companies. I believe as there is unbelievable value in the market even government funds can enter market aggressively.

Every dark cloud there is a silver lining. If I am correct government funds are slowly collecting some stocks. Even some intelligent foreign and local investors which include institutional investors are buying stocks that they like. They are slowly building positions.

Doctor Mr.T.SENTHILVERL exit from NHL, He will probably invest that money in AINV through private placement or crossing at Rs.4/- as he did earlier .But we can’t buy AINV even at Rs.3.5/-because  we are being small sale investors can’t do private placement or crossing.

Now after short marathon AINV is relaxing at Rs.2.1/-. If we placed buying order for AINV at Rs.3.5/- in normal trade Rs.2.2/-, Rs.2.3/-…………………..Rs.3.4/- selling orders will be executed first. This our main obstacle, Only one thing we can do it, If we all unite and line up in queue, rush to buy this   Rs.2.2/-,Rs.2.3/-………..Rs.3.4 selling orders we can reach Rs.3.5/- target that is very closer to  Doctor Mr.T.SENTHILVERL , AINV may go up Rs.10/- if all we united…!!

Your wish is clear. Your goal is clear. But it has lot of practical issues. Moreover the game plan looks like a fairy tail to me.
