I think it is good to buy and keep, it has a good track record.
The price can go up depending on the next quarter results as now many people are focused on MGT for the moment.

MGT target Rs, 25. MGT now too high. before the target price, huge quantity sells to retailers. better to exit the next few days. don't be greedy.

TJL has more chances to fly like MGT.
GLAS also will touch Rs. 4.50-4.80 levels.
LMF, HHL, VPEL better also.

They are manufacturing personal protection equipment (PPE) at full capacity.

Indian factories are all manufacturing hazmat type suits for the Indian COVID19 effort and production is at full capacity. The demand is so high that the Indian govt. has banned export of PPE suits to the global market.

Sri Lankan factories are exporting cotton face masks.

Demand for cotton masks may peak within 3-4 months, but the demand for PPE hazmat suits being used in India will continue for longer I think as they are being used in medical settings.

They are running fully capacity till February and may be the best financial year of the TJ history. Worth to collect around 33 and will hit 50 before end of this year.

Hi all,

To be honest, i have doubt about TJL performance in term of profits cf. last year.

TJL could have lost its orders from its high profitable buckets namely the USA and EUROPE branded clothing manufacturing due to COVID

Instead they have the chance for massive amounts orders for PPE masks and any shifts in manufacturing coming from South Asian countries which is the positive. This is mainly because of COVID19 and US/CHINA trade tension.

Therefore, there is high likelihood that TJL will achieve impressive top line but profits same as last year is a challenge due shifts in types of businesses profitability from High profit buckets to low buckets

Highly doubt. No issues with GSP+ as well, based on the recent EU statement. People seem to be rallying behind tjl now for some reason.

TJL seems to be gearing up for a good run. Heavy trading in recent past and 39/-ish looks to be the support level even during recent market correction times. Good volumes today also.

Q3 is expected to be better than Q2 and Q4 will be better than Q3 which may result in a EPS better than last FY. Plenty of foreign holding in top 20. Also its no brainer that LKR will depreciate against the USD in 2021 and TJL is definitely one of the beneficiaries. Capacity expansion + dividends in jan/feb perhaps will probably make this counter appreciate further.
