SSangYong vehicles were also assembled in Sri Lanka some years back and had a big initial interest from people wanting an affordable suv but couldn’t afford the japanese models. Now how’s the demand for SSangYong Rexton and other models? After the initial interest it slowly died down. I’m thinking same will happen to DFSK meaning short term revenue might not really stand the test of time. Don’t think majority of our vehicle lovers prefer Korean or Chinese vehicles due to lack of 2nd hand market value.
