Can we see DIPD, HAYC & HAYL as top 3 gainers in Top Gainers list today ??

HAYC and HAYL maybe tomorrow or Monday. DIPPED has very high probability.

I am wrong @win win - HAYC is moving faster than DIPPED. DIPPED is held back with foreign selling today. With the volumes getting traded hopefully foreign selling will over soon.
Yes Mithoo, But can be happy on % of price gain despite of massive massive foreign sales. specially DIPD suffered today also. But, one thing is good. Foreigners have sold net 2.2mn shares so far for this month. Tt means Locals have bought. It is good for our country also, bcz DIPD will be the most performing share in this year. After finishing this selling pressure soon, locals will gain more profit and reinvest in CSE. It is good. Even Dividends will circulate within local investors. Foreigners sold considering the needy to call back investments to their mother lands.
However, we can see a good price jump in next week specially in DIPD. DIPD will touch Rs.500 in very short period and  it is fair value more than Rs.600 with their potential. They have more capacities for Q3 & Q4 and more bargaining power. Most considerable thing is their all sectors Gloves & Tea are top performing and day by day new markets, increases of product prices can be expected and achieve.
Most companies have performed good results, but Q3 will not ready to show same results. But DIPD has more potential than Q2. I am saying repeatedly DIPD will record above Rs.90 EPS for 2020/21.
When compare to the future performance and share price, DIPD has good journey in coming days very sooner not later.. Plantation sector performing well than Q2. More increase tea prices have been predicted in next months. Outcome from Gloves manufacturing capacities will be added heavily from mid of Q3. They have owned rubber plantations. This is a marvelous combination under a same group.. That's y Im repeatedly say DIPD can not match with any other company.

Thank you Mithoo, You were with DIPD from the beginning to highlight this share to others.
More price increases are highly expected in next week .. It is pleasure if DIPD touches Rs.500 level next week..

A Special note of thanks to WIN WIN for all the hard work he has done and telling all the members about the value of this share. People in your caliber are very rare and keep up that quality. I really appreciate it. Otherwise new comers like us a loss in the dark.

Just a small query..
Can someone tell me whether to hold these counters further or to realize the profit ?? Need expert comments as always.

All thanks to @win win 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

@CPGOMEZ71 - I would say it is a good share for investment in the medium term. If you are not in a rush to realize profits. You can hold on. Because today total traded volume is 1.1Mn and by the end of the day i expect around 2Mn more foreign holding only. Once foreign selling is over Share price can have a good appreciation again in sometime.
Thanks both ..
I also agree with Mithoo, DIPD appreciation was pointed object by Foreign Selling Pressure. I am very optimistic that it should have over by today. This is the share for this year. HAYC can maintain its performance in next 2 quarters around their Q2 level, But DIPD can achieve more & more without doubt and it is very clear. They had invested significantly for capacities and I am sure they can do more with government support. Their previous investments in extra capacities will give results now onwards. It was not indicated in Q2. Also, they can easily demand for price increases and exchange rates give more support. Further, they have already expanded their world-wide coverage. This is a combination of star & cash cow for Hayleys to surge profit and cash.
I am very confident DIPD share price should go up and exceed Rs.500 in next week. It is real worthy share. It have already benefited from Tea Prices compare to Q2. Definitely, glove will add superb profits than Q2. DIPD should analyze based on their growth potential and future CFs in both sectors. Both sectors are heavily performed well than Q2. FV of DIPD share is Rs.630 at this moment for me. I believe DIPD price will increase sooner and most important thing is there are very good confidence and visible evidences for an investor on DIPD share that DIPD Q2 performance was arrived from main businesses and all sectors are performing well than yesterday.

Very less risk + High return businesses in DIPD under this critical situation for other businesses..

But, analyze and get an independent decision, this is for supportive comments.

HAYC & DIPD will pay good dividends. Definitely HAYC will pay higher compare to DIPD. DIPD had invested capacity expansions and I am sure that they will do more new investments. But, DIPD will pay good dividend than last year while expanding their businesses.

In a way your broker wants to be equitable, they will at the same time recommend another to buy it. So that they can make two clients happy and at the same time make more commission. All's well that ends well!DIPD/HAYC/HAYL - Page 6 Icon_biggrin

Activated Carbon Market Projected To $14.66 Billion by 2025 | It is Utilized in Metropolitan Water Treatment Plants as an Application of Water Treatment: Grand View Research, Inc.

By ABNewswire
- November 5, 2020

According to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc. the global activated carbon market size was estimated at USD 4.72 billion in 2018. It is expected to expand at a CAGR of 17.5% during the forecast period. Increasing demand for water treatment and sewage treatment applications is expected to be a key growth driver.

As per the report by Grand View Research Inc., the global Activated Carbon Market is estimated at USD 14.66 billion by 2025. It is expected to develop by a 17.5% CAGR in the period of the forecast.

Activated carbon is some of the important adsorbents with the high capability of adsorption covering a big part of the surface. Lignite, wood, coconut shells, and coal are the mostly used  raw materials for the manufacturing of activated carbon. It is classified in to three categories, granular, powdered and extruded.

Activated charcoal is broadly utilized in gas stage and liquid stage. Medicinal and pharmaceutical manufacturing, automobile plus food & beverages manufacturing are the sectors wherein activated charcoal is used. Normally it is utilized for deodorization and decolorization properties. Growing alertness regarding fitness and rising toxic waste are the factors leading to slow enlargement of the market.

Increasing requirement for the refinement of the air and water in coal fired cement manufacturing units is expected to impel the requirement for the granular and powdered variety of the activated carbon.

Activated carbon contains excessive porous construction and the capability of adsorption. Therefore it is particularly utilized in the purification procedure of air and water in several end users industries. Utilization of the product in elimination of the mercury, acids, metallic particles, and the toxic gases, from oil and coal powered factories is estimated to stimulate the market growth. Rising alertness about the fitness and altering standards of living is projected to additionally propel the market in the near future.

Activated carbon is utilized in metropolitan water treatment plants as an application of water treatment. It is also consumed for water purification of the water required for domestic use, and the ground water. It is used as a solution for poison sourced by the intake of toxins in the pharmaceutical manufacturing.

In the food & beverages manufacturing sector activated charcoal eliminates the surplus color and the smell from the fresh food. Growing ecological contamination driven by the discharge of industrial gases and the release of automobiles is expected to power the demand for the product from the air cleansing sector.

Diverse controlling organizations have laid strict rules for the controlling of ecological pollution. They have endorsed activated carbon in the treatment plants of air and water. Sequentially, it is anticipated to boost the market, during the period of the forecast.

The environment rules according to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) controls the discharges of mercury from coal power plants. The European commission standardizes the industrialized discharges of the waste water and the water contamination. They have suggested the usage of the product  to extract chemical adulteration during filtration. Execution of these policies is estimated to push the consumption of the activated carbon during the period of the forecast.

 • In 2018, air purification sector retained a principal share of the market owing to increasing alertness about the fitness benefits of air filtration, together with the policies like Clean Air Act is additionally expected to impel the development of the market for the activated carbon.

 • The water and waste water treatment sector is projected to develop by a specified 17.6% CAGR from 2019 to 2025. The development can be credited to the growing usage of the activated carbon in beverages manufacturing, ground water treatment and in metropolitan plants.

Both DIPD & HAYC ar.e superb companies and they have recorded their foot-print across the world. Under this covid situation, this will create a competitive advantage for both companies. Their potential markets and growth are very high. This was reflected by Q2 report in some extent. 3rd Q, they can perform very well and Q3 & Q4 should be more impressive and should record better financial performance..

Their New Investments will be active from this quarter and reflect partial result from Q3

Next Budget will give massive reliefs and motivational factors to Export Companies.

Clearly some big shot wants to drag the market down, the posts on social media these days are pushing for the investors to sell. Even some prominent people like Mr. Nimal Perera are pushing posts openly asking for EPF, ETF funds to sell their shares. And now the CSE twitter handle has posted this. Are they trying to create a bear run and collect shares at lower prices.

Everyone want to collect this gem so they are posting to sell and exit. But this has the potential to reach 500+ level without any problem.

HAYC the next Big Long?

 • The next BIG LONG is water and air, since HAYC is catering to those segments growth potential is immense.

 • A global leader in coconut based activated carbon with a market share of 16%. HAYC generated LKR 19.2bn revenue in FY20 with activated carbon).

 • Purely 1HY results [57 EPS] was due to the operating margin growth supported by the strong performance of value-added products such as super capacitor carbons. Therefore, this SUCCESS is not a one off COVID driven story.

 • Inventory of LKR 6.8bn suggests HAYC’s order book is full up to Q3 therefore the fluctuations in raw material availability is minimized till Q3. Higher inventory is a good indication that HAYC could repeat 2Q performance in 3Q as well.

 • Higher operating cash flow (FY21E), balance sheet strength (lower debt) along with the prevailing lower interest rate environment gives opportunities for acquisition.

 • Oxypura ‘care’ facemask will see growth even after COVID-19 as it will cater to the rising air pollution [100% Sri Lankan brand!!]

 • Approx. USD 56Mn Maldives sewerage project [Puritas] remains in the pipeline and yet to be incorporated into estimates.

 • The current Government's support to promote coconut development will benefit HAYC in the medium term.
