My expectation for the market is to recover by at least 3% during December months starting from today. And one of a key sector that will improve is Investment Trusts and also one of the key sectors hit hard during past two months.
From that sector stocks like Ascot, Ceylon Guardian, Ceylon Investment, Lanka Century, Guardian Capital, and Renuka Holdings were the main picks for me. Out of them too Ascot, Ceylon Guardian and Ceylon Investment demonstrate beta values in excess of 1 so I am expecting a good recovery in those counters during this month. Those three shares have come down by 16% during the last two months. So my targets for them are,
Ascot - 32/30
Ceylon Guardian - 115/90
Ceylon Investment - 50/60
All of above have the potential to go up by more than 9%.
Lets monitor how they will move.
