The logistics sector currently accounts for ~11% of Sri Lanka’s GDP, the second largest after wholesale & retail. We expect all businesses across the sector to be impacted due to both global and local trade slowdown.

Post lock down however, we expect logistics operations, particularly those heavily exposed to food retailing and essential consumer goods to see some benefit. The remainder of the sectors are heavily dependent on a global trade recovery.
