Thanks for the post Sriranga.

Until 2009 the investors used to get more or less 10% dividend yield from NEST. But look how much the share ballooned since then?
High expectations killed almost all the fundamentally sound companies shares. These companies now in overly/fairly valued region.. That's one of the main reasons why these good shares are struggling to go further.( of course there are some exceptionals).

Wish NEST is trading around 400 -500. If so I would grab it with both my hands...

For those who entered around Rs.40, 12 years back are very rich by now, Of cause mainly the perent company NESTLE.

Now it's nearly a 100% ROI annually as dividend and 2000% as capital appreciation for them. This is the wonder of long term investments, even we consider inflation I don't think Rs 40 per share is a big thing in late 90's or early 2000.

Also the good thing is their dividends are in par with their EPS.. So u can see this was once a hidden gem Wink

what a wonderfull share that I missed to enter 7 years ago.. now I think it is too late...
