Dialog customer care service sucks.It is very difficult to contact a bugger from customer care service of so called big mobile GSM company.I tried via online chat result is the same.It says all the buggers are busy and please wait for around 15minutes.Then suddenly line get disconnected.

This is realy sucks.These buggers should occupy adequate number of customer service assistants.Shame on u Dialog Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Its way better than having to pay for calling a customer care number.

Remember they bought Suntel and provided VRS for Suntel guys?

So they have extra staff to fill in Suntel customer care too.. So only explanation left is; they might be busy training staff these days.. Twisted Evil

Well quite frankly other service providers had to go on cost cutting too hence may be out of staff too.. so even if u switch I wonder whether a fair customer care service could be obtained??

On a slightly different topic,
If I am you and if I hold Dialog in my portfolio, I would get rid of them.
As a policy, I only invest on companies I like and I have interacted with some how.
That way I know where my money is going.
This type of experiences are good and we should learn from them.
Recently I have invested a lot on ODEL.
Every time I come to SL, visiting a ODEL outlet is in my to do list.
As a investor I consider that as important as going through the financial report.
Straight away you can have an idea whether your money is growing or not.

Good policy.. We should not invest in companies that just show off to customers of massive things but deliver less Wink

Then again, we cant own the company we invest in unless we have a hugh pile of money rest somewhere.. so most of us are just happy being part investors in these companies due to being small investors. Wink

I remember they gave a dividend recently.Why can not they use that money to give a valuable service ?Even in their service centre u have to wait in a large queue like in government hospitals.I think customer service assistants are also fed up working restlesly. Only big investers get benefitted with these type of dividends.

I totally agree with you. Rijayasooriya, I have the same experience. Good? part of their service is the customers are forced to listen to their advertisement spending our hard earned money.
I have pointed out several times to customer service people about these difficulties & asked them to convey these to the management.

I don't know about Dialog customer service. But Mobitel is horrible. I tried to reach the customer care on my last visit to Sri Lanka. I couldn't teach them at least once after trying many time. Finally, I had to reach them via a friend of mine working in SLT.

They rip you off.
Only one free call and that too not from a prepaid dialog phone.
You have to pay to make them aware of a mistake they made.
Isn't there a consumer protection authority?

Everyone says they are bad and I agree. Dealing with them is as equal to dealing with any government agency.
But the question here is where is our customer resistance?
They need us and unlike government agencies, we do not need them.
Think about this.

I also have complained "Dialog" about these "pre recorded voice advertisements" several times and even threaten to complain to TRC. But they just ignore it altogether. (send a reply email within 2 days though when i email then at service@dialog.lk)

Today one of their customer care assistant called me and asked the whole incident.It is good that they do some sort of evaluation.



I fully emphasized them the shortage of customer care assistants.
