If they sell their telecommunication arm group profitability will improve. I do not think they will sell.

If you can hold on to this share for next 2 years it will give you 3 times of your investment. HOW ???
1 ELPL,DIST,SPEN,MADU and health sector will increase earnings.
2 Equity holdings of JKH,DFCC,COMB-will help negative cash flow and net ass. val.
finally they says GOOD TIME TO BUY IS WHEN THE BLOOD ON THE STREET EVEN WHEN IT IS YOUR OWN.
Its risky but good risk to take if it give you three times of your investment.

There can be pumping and dumping of Harry J shares .but be careful most of companies don't have good financials no dividend history

Dcsl has lot of debt .look at debt /equity near 60%
And competition for raw materials due to govt.decision .
Bala has negative net asset if they cannot turn into profit this will be verge of bankruptcy .
LMF is performing goodast quarter and other of transfer pricing involved so profit will be absorbed to these private companies . No good dividend pay out .MELS can have upward movement but be careful this may be pump /Dump game

Personnaly I don't like Harry J shares.

I lost 50% of my cse investment that time but this time hopefully I will recover my lost with help of HARRY J.I think harry j vs justi m will not be happening because they belongs to two different leagues.

That 's why I try to compare this with vanik not JKH. if they dont have this issue mels will trade around 60.
Thousand dollar ??? here is can they handle this ? this is the real risk we take. I really believe that they have enough fire power over come this within two years.
what are these fire powers???
1. equity holdings in cse
2.connections to major banks like HNB,COMB AND DFCC will help them to restructuring longs to new low rates
3.future earnings of DCSL,SPENS AND PLANTAIONS

Negative thoughts are spreading on MELS. But anyone can study MELS annual report and understand the real value of this share. It will be easily provide a 50% gain in the short term. (current value around 28, 50% is 42).
